What is a topic map?
A topic map is a method of structuring concepts around a core entity to maximize topical coverage.
The intent of a topic map is to maximize site-wide relevance and resource crawlability, which results in better rankings, quicker rankings, while minimizing the need for backlinks.
What is an entity?
An entity is a uniquely identifiable object or thing characterized by its name(s), type(s), attributes, and relationships to other entities.
An entity is only considered to exist when it exists in an entity catalog.

Simply stunning. Incredibly practical but full of logic and insight. Reverse engineering a highly ranked site with zero backlinks. Genius.

Hi, Andrew. Thank you for the video! Your ninja-style research process is different from what traditional SEO KZbinrs have shown us for years. If nothing else, you have demonstrated excellent research techniques! Also, I believe you are our best chance to understand Koray's methodology. The way he "teaches" it is so purposefully difficult that there would be great value if someone who has managed to understand him could explain in simpler terms exactly what we should do on a practical level.

I appreciate that! Haha, I like the “ninja-style”. I’ll call it Ninja SEO from now on. Hopefully I make sense of Koray’s stuff. I can see him improving his clarity. I think he’s done an amazing job teaching complicated theories in a language that isn’t the one he was born with. I’m super impressed with him and thankful for his work, which is why I’m trying to help educate.

Great video and very good break down. I would love to know more about how to plan interlinking between these topics and how to basically keep it all together especially when you work with a team of writers and editors who're not that technical. What tools do you use to map it all out? Is it just a spreadsheet?

@@andrew-does-marketing I'm interested in learning about the process you use with your seed keywords. When you have "single keyword" entities, do you input these into a tool to generate thousands of keywords and then d you serp-based clustering? Or perhaps you follow a completely different method?
