This setup does not work if the Firestore rules are not properly set and I don't know how to set it correctly. Unles I give permission to Everyone, the data for the person referring is not writable and it does not populate userRefs

Hope you can create a tutorial on how to implement in flutterflow and supabase a University or School management System, where Student, Teachers, Employees can access their own records , and also parents can only access the records of their own children enrolled. School management system of course is a bit complicated so not all features will be available, just the authentication (Login, Roles, permissions etc) and a demonstration of how to input records in a one to many and many to many table relationship using flutterflow. Thanks!

Awesome, Now do a follow up for Users to invite other App Users to a team or project. This is an extremely common scenario (FF itself uses this very type of feature) Its also commonly asked among the community with little response including multiple times in the last few months.

@@FlutterFlow I've built something like this for my app where a user "Therapist" can invite a "Patient" and "Patient" can accept or reject the invitation. Not exactly the same but close. I probably overcomplicated some parts but it works. FlutterFlow team if you want I could make tutorial for this for you :D

I think it's a very similar process. You create a unique link containing the team ID. Once a user click, the user is added to the team with that ID thereby becoming part of the project.

Try repeating the steps of creating another link parameter and storing that information in the backend. Your link would include the 2 parameters and you'd update a local state or your backend document with those parameters on page load!

The local state ref was replaced with app state, page state and component state variables right after this video was released. Any time "local state" is mentioned, just refer to it the same as "app state"
