Out of the many VISION BOARD videos we've seen, this is the TOP MOST that actually make sense. - Vision Board (short term goals) VS Dream Board (long term goals) - Use of ACTION WORDS For example: 1.) "Go to the GYM every SATURDAY" instead of "Have a healthy body" 2.) "Read ONE Bible Verse per week" instead of "Get more closer to GOD" It separates the WHAT from the HOW. What you want to achieve. HOW will you get it. Thank you!

@@certifiedcars3970 Take care of what you follow. If a person is a Christian it isn't about self desiring worldly pleasures. Scripture does, however, instruct us on what to focus on. Following them brings inward peace with God and self. When we leave this body in physical death, the soul lives on. We have been given the gift of Eternal life if we receive the gospel of Jesus Christ and walk in it. If we neglect the choice to have the gift God offers , those are the ppl who will receive a judgment God did everything thing for us to not enter.

@Real boxing Fan1 There does not have to be as much action as you might imagine. The real action is in the time spend doing the active visualization. I found my current residence by making stories with pictures on cards. I went through the pictures and told myself the stories out loud. I made several versions of the same story using different decks of cards. I also told the stories and showed the pictures to everyone who came by to visit me, every time. Then I drew some pictures of my own illustrating things I wanted to be able to do in my new home. Finally, I drew a picture of how I imagined it to be. I only looked once or twice at rental listings and never called any. The perfect place came to me with no effort whatsoever on my part other than the visualization steps I have described. Someone came to my apartment one day and told me about the perfect place that someone was moving out of. From start to finish, the whole thing took about 4-5 months. My new place looked almost identical to the one I had made an illustration of, less than a week earlier. I have also done all the things I had drawn pictures of myself being able to do here. There were some details I neglected to specify in my drawings and those things have not manifested. The only other work beside visualization was the actual packing and moving. I never had to hunt for an apartment at all, and that was the hardest part of moving in the past.

I ❤️ listening to people’s point of views:) Why became as a healer of self and cosmos energy being I come across many people with serious health conditions. Some of these people are earthy wealthy and some financially challenged. How you choose to look at actions or abundance comes from the individuals mindset. My clients that are successfully stable often times don’t feel that they work hard or even take much action they just believe that they think it. I am not disagreeing with you in fact I’m with you on taking action. I’m only sharing other ppl views. I know for me I have to take action meaning do something out of my Element. It made not be the action you have in mind but even that’s okay. I love how he incorporates his wife into planning while maintaining other aspects well-balanced as well. On an honest point, though the thumbnail of this video isn't very appealing at first (in terms of visuality, the design...) but this happen to be "the most practical" and "most persuading" vid of all. Though I haven't adopted his proposal yet, I think that the methodology mentioned is very well explained (from little goals to big goals - this is the part before 9:45 where some guys think it unnecessary to watch, which definitely needs to be watched in order to have better understandings of what he said later on) All in all, to those who came for the comments first, definitely go check it out, and for Mr.Bailey, thanks for sharing this content on youtube, it is an inspiring video :) Johnny

I have never made a vision board before so I watched this and decided to go for it. I had put "landlord" on it and "real estate flipper". Two days later I called about a property that I was interested in renting out but not knowing how I could get the money. This would be my first one. Anyway, without me asking the guy said he would finance me and I had come to him at the right time because he had more that I could get from him if I wanted them. We will be meeting Monday to see a property and discuss the deal. It was as if it was meant to be. So easy with no resistance. I tried this a year ago and met with great resistance. Feeling excited. Things are definitely different.

I understand the underlying principle of avoiding "negative" imagery on a vision board, but I plunked a big dollar sign with a mortar board on my vision board and used that constant reminder of my debt to push me to pay off my $60K student loans in just a few years. I didn't even earn much more money - I just cut back every way I could to free up more $$$ for my loans. Vision boards cast a spotlight on the things in life you consider important. Simply focusing on earning more money wouldn't have worked for me. My issue wasn't a lack of money, but rather a lack of focus on an important financial obligation. I needed the constant reminder that I was in debt & the solution was to constantly re-purpose my existing income, not to manifest more money. The style of vision board in this video could easily fall flat for people who aren't starved for unending positive reinforcement.

I used to think this way too. I thought that constantly reminding myself of my problems would motivate me to change them. What I didn’t realize is this may work for a burst of short term motivation, but it doesn’t tend to work long term. Our brains emote certain chemicals depending on what we are feeling. When we focus on problems in our life (ie debt), the brain produces more cortisol (the stress hormone). While this may seem like motivation, it is actually a toxin. Prolonged overproduction of cortisol can lead to serious health challenges which will likely create.. (you guessed it!).. more debt. On the flip side, focusing on creating (for example) an additional $10,000, part of which we use to pay down debt, can trigger the release of dopamine (the reward and motivation hormone). This is the hormone that leads to long term motivation and long term success. Hope that helps. Thanks for taking time to comment!

​@@ericbailey7839Again, like many people, I did not need to "create" more money. I needed to repurpose my existing income, which I achieved by keeping my obligations front and center. There are plenty of people who can face their obligations head-on without stressing themselves out. I'm sure your approach is great for pessimists or people who feel hopelessness, but your approach is by no means a cure-all. There are plenty of natural optimists who simply need to tether themselves a bit more to their obligations. We'll have to wait & see if I end up in crippling medical debt from self-induced cortisol poisoning.

I’m not sure what being an optimist or pessimist has to do with this particular conversation, nor do I remember claiming anything to be a “cure all.” With that said, I am always open to learning from those who have achieved greater results than I have. Thank you for the video. My team has been encouraging all of it's members to create a vision board to help achieve goals and to help us focus on what we want to accomplish through our business (it's an in-home party company keep in mind). I have been with the company 2yrs now this past October and I have done well for myself, but I have not yet done my vision board and about talked myself out of doing one all together. That was before I found your video. I was not even looking on KZbin for this topic but something made me click on the link. I'm not sure really why the thought of creating one had my stomach in knots or why I felt so intimidated by the thought of it... but it did. Just like having the nerve to go live on facebook is still a hurdle for me to overcome. If it had not been for your video I probably would not even be considering doing either one. Thank you again. Vision board, dream board, action board and video board all do the same thing. The premise is the same. This may work for him and not you because you are a different person. You come from a different background, experiences, teachers etc. He has some good points, however, find what fits for you. There is not one way to do this. I use a combination of all the boards and it is very elaborate and detailed and it works! Why? Because that fits my personality. When I first started trading in the markets my mentor told me to find which trading style fits my personality. Day trading did not work or did long term trading, I lost money every time. Swing trading and trading options was the winner. That fit my personality.

Your explanation is very encouraging and fun sounding. I love the order you put into it. Some others explanations are confusing, lacking a point of reference. Yours is plain and simple. Very understandable. I drew the little graph you drew on your presentation paper, wrote down my goals onto it and the next step is to make the vision board. This is the second time I have watched your video. I will watch it at least a third or forth time, as I told my boyfriend about this video and want to watch it with him. He has done a vision board before and says it works. I have a 7 year old son and will have him do his very own vision board, as well. As I think, even at his young age it will benefit him. I love how you distinguished between a vision board and a dream board. Explaining how these two concepts are different from one another, however, intertwined and woven together as one, as there must be an end goal and the steps taken to get to that end goal. That's the way I see it. Yes, sometimes we have to start very small to build up our momentum and I will encourage those who are doing this to not be afraid or ashamed of where you are at this point because you really are doing something to improve your situation and yourself. You really are achieving your goals and your dreams with not just the big achievements but WITH EVERY SMALL BABY STEP YOU TAKE towards your vision. And just like a baby, we start off with small steps before we can start leaping and jumping and running and daring to fly. Remember, those small steps is what get us in shape to take those big steps in accomplishing great things in ourselves and helping others to do the same. Great advice and insight. I manifested my place by using sticky notes. I had the developers name written on a yellow sticky note back in 2010 beside the light switch in my bedroom for two years and saw the sticky note everyday when I walked in and out of my bedroom. Didn’t know it was call manifesting or law of attraction at that time but a chain of events occurred that led me to visiting developer and then buying a place from them even though I didn’t have enough for a full downpayment and the developer provided me downpayment assistance. I know vision boarding works!
