@SonyPSHome yes sorry so it was 3am when I put the assets live and I had to sleep and wake up in 4 hours to go to London for the day. When I did a quick test the lazy river assets failed to load, missing dependencies which was weird. It should have been fine. But there was no time to look at it so I had to hold it back until today. I’m going to look into it now and hopefully put live 👍

Hey, Sully thanks so much for these great assets. I have been waiting for months for this to come out. The one thing I have thought the game has been missing is a water park. we have theme parks zoos and really everything else. but it needed this asset. Thanks so very much you did a great job and I'm looking so forward to making a water park and doing a video on it.

Finding this on the workshop was a rollercoaster ride of an experience itself. First, it looked like just any random loose collection of assets, I was curious because I wanted a cool water park. Then, I noticed the word 'station' in the asset names and began to realise this pack was probably sophisticated and well-made. Soon, I saw the asset release dates - not some old 2016 or whatever which now may be utterly broken, but August 2023. Jaw simply dropped. Well done, Parklife must be so fucking jealous.

@rlas thanks for all your comments mate, I’m glad you enjoyed! Yep I tried to keep it concise. The first draft was 45 mins long, before I cut out all the filler and unnecessary info lol. Yep there’s a bit to learn but once you’ve built a few it’s easy. Just takes a few to get used to the steps etc. yep the IMT presets can be used for waterfalls, one of the guys on discord has tried something similar already! Very cool!

Loving the use of IMT. Crazy idea and that will probably be used creatively in so many other builds other than the waterslide itself. I can imagine making waterfalls with that for example. 😊

Someone was working on a project like this for OpenRCT2, but currently stopped working on that. To see this in Cities Skylines is unexpected and seriously impressive. I hope CS2 will allow for more proper building of theme parks, water parks and zoos, maybe not as expansive as a zoo tycoon or parkitect, but with atleast a trackbuilder similar to the original roller coaster tycoon. I'd love if you would make an official CCP.

hi @matthijsflappie i've just uploaded new versions of the IMT presets and Props as separate packs. Please unsub from the asset pack you have already, and sub to my new packs. This is all now fixed and working. Thanks for your patience, i should have fixed much sooner, but there's been a 'thing' i cant talk about yet :)

Pool stations are not working for me. I have all the mods installed and enabled but it keeps saying distance too short

@bibar99 you need network anarchy, and you need to turn on network anarchy in options 👍

@@sully_skylines weird thing is, i have network anarchy enabled and I checked all the mods that don’t go with network anarchy. I have no clue what’s going wrong.

@@bibar99 it’s not just having the mod, but you need to turn anarchy on… press CTRL + A .. that’s the only reason why it would say distance to short and not let you plop it. It’s because they’re technically Quays, and quays can’t be placed too close to each other as part of the vanilla game, so network anarchy allows you to bypass this.

Hey I haven’t played CS1 in over a year so not supporting this any more, but remember to provide citizens a reason to go there. The slides are just transport and won’t give citizens a reason to travel there. Instead shops/homes/parks etc and they need to use the water slide to reach those destinations

@@Habeekman this is because you’re likely playing on left hand traffic, unsubscribe from right hand pool stations and sun to the left hand traffic one 👍

i think it's funny they call it a lazy river. when as kids we always went up stream and tried to force our way to the other end. the opposite of lazy.

There’s a bit to learn yes, and a few steps to go through sure.. but once you understand it and have built a few it’s easy. I’d say build some slides first as a tester to get used to it before building your park 👍 if get stuck you can ask me on discord and I’ll try and help

@@sully_skylinesSadly, I confess that I am beaten. I have connected everything up according to the instructions you give here, but it still won't work. Does the city you designed these assets in drive on the left, British-style, or on the right, ie. the WRONG way? (Stupid rest of the world... 😉) I ask because I have previously encountered assets obviously created for RHT, which, when switched to LHT - which I always do because I'm British - in which the direction of travel doesn't reverse. The same has happened here. The direction of traffic through the pool is reversed, with the slide entering at the stair and ending at the pool's connection slide. So I tried to solve the problem using Network Multitool to unlock the segments to reverse them, but only four of the five segments appear to be unlockable, so the central segment cannot be reversed. Bugger! Oh well, I shall put an F1 track there instead. Let's see what Lando can do with a London double-decker bus!
