Loved your wildflower style arrangements. Doing the flowers for my sons wedding in April uk and your video helped enormously. Thank you

Very pretty and I hope the weather held out. My daughter had her wedding overseas on an island and at high peak pricing. She was assured the weather was good in that month but of course if wasn't. She became the bride from hell and later a teary mess but I told her that bad weather was a sign of good luck. then as she made her entrance with her husband she got caught up on part of the tent and was drowned with the collected rain water. She totally lost it and threw the plate she was holding across the room. I said to my husband yay a Greek wedding. So her planned outdoor wedding by the sea became an indoor wedding, her collection of blue vases that she took over in her luggage, finally stayed upright. She had a wedding planner who stupidly allowed her beautiful flowers be thrown out and weren't taken to their room that was just meters away. My daughter and son in law are happy and now have 4 lovely kids but living in Cairns since last feb.😥

You're so brave to do wedding flowers, I'm so not ready to do a wedding yet😂 I recently got a text from a couple saying "we're popping down next weekend for flowers for our wedding, do you think you'll have any?!" This was during the 'drought' after spring flowers are gone and before the summer things. 🤪

I wasn’t brave enough the first time either but I figured what the hell and just launched right in 😂

All of these extras need to be listed and charged for, unless they want droopy flowers. Maybe as a particular column on your quote, you could write reasons for extra costs like whether the wedding is outside or inside. Maybe getting more information about the environment, so you can let them know ahead. Also weather wise, you can approach them with the forecast, ask if they have refrigeration at the wedding, and would you be able to use it for the main bouquets...otherwise tell them you will need to use your own car air con and gas to maintain their freshness...something like that. Just a few ideas....otherwise they might be questioning you post wedding and who really wants that.😊 Hope this helps, Jo. People that have overcharged me without any reason aren't called back. A couple of landscapers were trying to rip me off, but I kept the original quote agreed on and took down the hours they worked and petrol...etc They had zero comeback and we just went in circles as I had read out all inclusive costs like petrol and distance travelled. Best to be honest and upfront.

All looked beautiful, just a fyi - poppies are toxic too (so shouldn’t be too close to food). Cheers, Sharyn (aka Poppy Patch Flowers)
