Thanks David! I found your channel as a struggling CAD engineer who only used Creo occasionally. I found Creo support videos to be sparse and only mildly helpful, until I found your channel. You have a way of explaining things clearly and thoroughly in a way that resonated with me. It helped me learn more and more until I was considered the Creo expert in our office (not saying much, but still lol). Thank you for sharing your thoughts and skill with the world!

Your content has been very helpful from beginner to advanced level. I always recommend your channel whenever a junior needs any sort of support. Thanks a lot.

Thanks David! And thanks for not over-editing your content to make your videos “perfect”. The basic tenet of learning is through failure, and I love your “ooops” moments and showing how to resolve failures. This is invaluable. Thanks for sharing your channel tips and keep up the great work!

Thanks. As much as possible, I try to do my videos in a single take. I try to keep the editing minimal to remove occasional tongue twists. I chop sections out only when I really dig myself into a hole.

I've learned a lot from you, your channel is my go to if I get stuck on something or just want to learn something new in Creo. Keep up the good work! 😊

Hi Dave, can you elaborate on why you believe YT needs more CAD channels? Are there any topics that you HAVEN’T covered, or are out of scope for your channel? You are an international treasure to our industry! What could more channels possibly offer?

Trust me, I have looked, and there are no great CAD channels for CATIA / 3DExperience or NX. Also, I think we need more Creo channels. A colleague attended a recent Regional User Group where someone complained that there’s really only one main Creo channel. Also, I focus on feature and function, and I think Creo needs more general modeling channels (which I’m not interested in). As far as topics I haven’t covered, I haven’t done a good job on CNC machining (which I plan to address) and I want to go deeper into Creo Simulate. I really haven’t gone into advanced idealizations. Thanks for your kind words.

i think you are affiliated with PTC all these years
@CADPLMGuy2 ай бұрын
Umm… you can see that I write blog posts for them. I create videos for them. What’s your point?
@CADPLMGuy2 ай бұрын
I make a post on my Community page every time I get hired by them. Did you not see my MBD eBook I wrote for PTC? This isn't a secret. I literally have an author page on the PTC and Mathcad websites. If this is a conspiracy, I'm doing the worst job in history.

@@CADPLMGuy Can confirm that Dave Martin is "affiliated" with PTC but he isn't an employee of PTC; he is a contractor. To the video's point about there should be more CAD channels on KZbin, CAD companies are often looking for people external to the company to lend their outside expertise. Having a KZbin channel with good content is an obvious way to lend yourself credibility if you're interested in that.
