another wow!, indie (yr my Indiana Jones of creative gitter done inspo)... got me using all kinds of stuff... last week ii found a few stay wet 36-well lipstick containers repurposed for gouache & neocolor 2's melted as watercolours...each took h o u r s to set up ...yr a prime motivator for pushing past ugly stages, practicing patience (literally watching paint dry, but worldly negative news alternatives are on permanent time out), & letting go expectations in favor of happy surprises...you do way more here for us than paint...for real real.

It would help a lot to tape your paper onto a board instead of the table so you can turn it, also paint from the furthest away from you so you don’t get your hand in your wet paint.

I actually have my paper taped to a piece of plexiglass every video I make 😉 I try not to move my substrate much for viewing and recording reasons. And yes, I agree with what you say about painting further away from where my hand is and moving down. However, as I paint intuitively most of the time, this often means I move as I feel called to move and sometimes this might result with my hand ending up in wet paint. It hasn’t ruined any of my paintings yet, so I really don’t worry about it 😉 Thank you for making the time to share your ideas ❤️ Happy creating!
