Hi, from the example, the age group (0-13yrs) has only age 9,10,11,12. How about if there is new age (eg. age 7)? Then we might need to amend the grouping manually?

That's absolutely true. Instead of this we need to create Calculated conditional column using Dax or in power query that is the best way for grouping for this kind of data. If your data doesn't have any new values in future for those columns this method is suitable. Thanks for highlighting

Hi.. nice and useful. A related query... so my database has many such columns but my numeric range criteria is the same for all of them. I cannot use bins as the range is not standard/same across bins. Is there a way to use one range across multiple columns?

Same thing can be achieved using power query. Try to create new conditional colimn in power query.
