How To Create an Amazing Laser Engraved Canvas on xTool D1 10w Diode Laser

In this video I will engrave a painted canvas using the xTool D1 10w diode laser. Checkout my previous video on preparing your canvas and image for engraving.
Settings Used
Lighter Engrave: 6000 mm/m | 60% power
Darker Engrave: 8000 mm/m | 80% power

Lately, when I engrave a painted canvas with my xtool d1, no pro, 20w, I'm getting horizontal faded black bars, any idea what is causing this? Thanks

Check the line interval. To much spacing will cause those line.

i have had my laser for a month now and i still cant do good on canvas, I have a 5 watt so my settings as far as speed and power will be different, any suggestions?

How long did it take?

It took a little over 3hrs. This was a 12x12 canvas. Avg time for the 14x14 I do is 5-6hrs.

Nice work, how do you get rid of the spray paint smell of the canvas?

I wash my canvas off with a tiny bit of dish soap and a sponge after engraving and before I apply a clear coat.

I found that the fmell fades after a somewhat short period of time, however this may not be an option if you need to send your piece out right a way.
