OH MY GOSH... This is so interesting. I love this video. I have been a writer for over 24 years, mainly for a newspaper... but now, I am going to have my manuscript published... but also, I have been asked to write a Limited MiniSeries for TV and was asked if I was going to have a Series Bible... I (being an Actress) answered, "Of course... Doesn't everyone?" Then immediately got on KZbin and HERE I am watching your video... "HELP" I can see now why they would want a Series Bible... but I thought writing a screenplay would suffice, but I am wrong... especially since my manuscript has 48 characters... Needless to say, not all will be in the same scene at the same time of course... The "Town" is the main character... but now since they want the screenplay longer, not an usual 120 page script... but a Limited MiniSeries... of course I'll do a FYC first. A Series Bible is a must. Now... Be nice, and remember I'm very new to all of this, but I have a question: Since I am writing a Screenplay in Final Draft, wouldn't that be a Series Bible of sorts?? I don't feel that it would be enough... but I'm not sure. I'm sure I'll need a Series Bible also. Thank you so much for all your help... can't wait to see all of your other videos too.

I took advantage of the 'Campfire' discount with you code. Thank you for turning it on to me. I'm working on a speculative fiction series and am into book three. This is so much better than the binder crammed with post it notes and worn pages from multiple searches.

Thank you for this! Usually I just put all this in notebooks, but I’m thinking about a big fantasy idea and this looks like it might be wayyyyy easier. And it always helps to see how another author does things! 💖

I have heard of Campfire before but I didn't know you could do all of this in there. I've been looking for the best way to organize my series bible, so I'll definitely take the free trial. I also want to note that it is a very easy video to follow and things were explained nicely, thank you for posting this!

I use World Anvil for worldbuilding. It´s similar, maybe a little more confusing, but there is a completely free version too. I love worldbuilding and filling it in. The dark side is, it always sucks me into that worldbuilding rabbit hole , keeping me from doing anything else for days at a time

@@vikillustrations because you are putting your ideas on a public forum. That makes it impossible to copyright. So once it's up, anybody can take your ideas for their own.

John Terpack there is no way to copyright an idea anyway. Want to “steal” my idea? Go ahead 🤷♀️ If I give my world to 2 different people and tell them to make a story in there, I'll get two different stories. Ideas aren’t that important. Execution is. We should stop being so protective over our ideas, they are not originall anyway. Nothing is nowadays. So being worried over somebody stealing them is pointless
