Can you make a proper video for noobs about anime/cel shading. That would be really helpfull

TwoSidedSign plug with one minus make the result all outline filling the body, remove the one minus to make it same like your result, is it normal? I'm using 5.3

Sorry. Did you make sure the material is marked as 2 sided

I tried Success! There are two models, one had color material, the other one had the outline material, overlap two models will be good.(when i ues fliped normal model, oneminus node is not necessary.)

great idea but I only could create the material ... what do I have to do to bring it into my scene? thx in advance! :)
@ProjectShinkaiАй бұрын
do you already have your models in the scene. if so you should be able to simply drop the texture over.

What do you mean pushing the model out to make the outline darker?
@ProjectShinkai10 ай бұрын
I'm making a custom model to show the full process. But you can somewhat design your line work. By a pulling the vertex out in some places you can make your lines thicker Best example I can think of would be the anime demon slayer. How they vary their line work
@magnawiz10 ай бұрын
@@ProjectShinkai Oh I see pull out the vertex on the models in some places to simulate varying thickness in pencil drawings. Thank you that's a good idea!

I don't understand this method... Flipping the normals just makes Unreal see the model as being inside out when you import the model... As you would expect it to... How does this method work for anyone? What am I missing here?
@ProjectShinkai6 ай бұрын
It's suppose to look inside out. Have you applied the material to it.
@N30NCVLT6 ай бұрын
@@ProjectShinkai nah i meant it breaks the model itself on import because flipping the normals made all the faces point inwards, they need to face outwards which I assumed was how it should be normally so for my case I didn't need to flip them just using the material without flipping the faces it worked perfectly. 👍
