I so appreciate you doing this. I'm a bit long in the tooth and making the transition from Blackboard almost led me to early retirement. However after watching your videos I am able set-up my courses and now, mercifully, my crashing headache is gone!!! Angie for President!!!

I hear you about the transition from Blackboard!!! Canvas is not intuitive, at least it isn't to me. And thanks for taking the time to comment. You absolutely made my day. (And I accept your nomination 🗽)

Thank you for the excellent content. Is there a way to include a diagram with multiple points on the diagram with individual numbers and then ask the the students to select the correct answer for each of the numbers on a quiz or assignment? Thanks

The timing of your question is crazy good!! Working in a Canvas quiz tutorial that will explain this very thing. Doable in both classic and new quizzes. Stay tuned…

Can we hide the audio bar in page we add. I don't want it to be seen, want it just like a voiceover??

I don’t know how to do that-I’m guessing it would involve a little programming. I did find this related Q&A in the Canvas Community community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Developers-Group/Canvas-audio-link-size/m-p/60154

Do you know if there is a way to create an assignment in Canvas in which parts of a whole project could be combined across various courses?
@AngieTeaches Жыл бұрын
Such a good question! What comes to mind is Canvas's ePortfolio feature, where students can combine work from multiple classes in one place. I've only used them once for a class, but I found a video that might be helpful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp67d4iiisZ-ftUsi=aLqZUKjnh4gNojRt

I'm very new to Canvas - my new online job will be using this LMS. So my question is, when the student opens the assignment, they are downloading it, completing the assignment, then uploading back into Canvas for grading? Is that correct?

Great question! It depends on what kind of assignment you're giving. You could give them a worksheet to download, but not all will have a printer, so it is better to include the instructions in the text box of the assignment itself. My BEST advice is to play around with assignments. Create some, then switch to Student View (upper right of the Home Screen). In Student View, you are an actual student. Do the assignments, submit them, then leave Student View and grade the assignments, listed under 'Test Student'. Good luck on your new adventure.

You're going to need to grade those assignments, too! Watch *How To Grade Canvas Assignments* next kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6TRkn6AgcakaaM
