Wow, the auction plugin already 😂 I was searching for it yesterday for watches shop. The plugin you show in the video is great and easy to manage. I prefer the one from YITH just because a feature needed which is you have pay a fee to enter the bidding to avoid bad customers bid and run. I guess can be solved by membership. If you have an idea to avoid bad people bid and disappear would be nice practice (without stripe and paypal to be involved because i found some auction plugins that make sure a credit card must be connected to bid but we cant use stripe and paypal)

YITH plugin for me had too many theme compatibility problems. It looked distorted on many themes and i just didn't like the layout and look of it. It looked a bit " cheesy" imo. Dokan with this plugin i used in the video i would say is a better approach because it looks more natural

Get day Darrel, how many place holders can I have in a solace retail ridge theme for auction products, I tried everything in WP to configure and in the solace retail ridge theme and woo to set them to 15 placeholders using shortcode [products limit="15" columns="3" paginate="true" visibility="visible" orderby="menu_order" order="ASC"] rows per page and have pagination on but the products displayed always return to 6 per page. doing my head in, hope you can help or anyone else.

I am having issues with the solace theme. The elements tab doesn't work and when i go to change the shop settings on the product page nothing changes. It keeps the demo page and i can't edit it. That is as far as I have reached in the video lesson ( i use blue host as my hosting)

it definitely requires a big team. My honest opinion is, it your looking to make your own theme and sell it, i would not suggest it. I would consider the plugin market because its not as saturated and easier to make. Themes require alot of testing, tons of development work and no one wants to buy them. Youve seen my comments when people say " why do i have to use a paid theme?! " XD. The market for WordPress themes is not worth it.
