Today I walk you through converting our mobile game to an augmented reality game by adding AR Foundation, AR XR Plugins, AR Mesh Manager, and resizing our racing car to be about 10% of the original size as needed for AR.
Here is a list of detail steps we will cover through in this video:
1- Creating a new AR Scene by cloning our original
2- Resizing our car prefab to be sized correctly for our augmented reality game
3- Tweaking physic components
4- Adding AR Foundation
5- Adding XR ARKit Plugin
6- Adding XR ARCore Plugin
7- Adding AR Foundation managers : AR Session, AR Session Origin, AR Mesh Manager
8- Creating a Game Manager which controls placement of car in generated LiDAR meshes
