have you figured this out? Still wondering
@dublinphotoart4 жыл бұрын
You would have to make your comp 3 times the height as well as the width ... like he did at the start of this... and your trees in a diagonal line from top left to bottom right ... if you picture a big box of 9 screens... your first frame of trees are in the top left ... frame 2 trees in the middle and then frame 3 trees (which is a copy of the first trees) is bottom right, now you place that whole thing where the top left trees are centred in your frame and scroll it diagonally and setting your loop... the point is to move it so when the bottom right trees scrolls up it lines up perfect with where the first trees were

I got my ten second loop to go three times but it disappears. I set the comp length to 3 minutes, but it still disappears at 30 seconds. Tearing my remaining hair out. Just can't get it
@dublinphotoart4 жыл бұрын
If the layer that you are looping is a 'pre-comp' double click into it and make it also 3 minutes long so it wont disappear after 10 seconds. If it is not a precomp... then you should be able to drag the end of that layer to the end of the 3minute comp so it loops out ... if it doesnt drag out... right click - time - enable time remapping and then drag it out 🤔

How do I control the timing of the loop?
@no-pz8gi5 жыл бұрын
AriaShther by changing the timing of the key frame marker you can change the speed of the loop. The farther in the timeline the keyframe is placed, the more space the asset will have to cover in that time frame. Basically earlier key frame placement=slower scroll speed and vice-versa. It should work but I dont know if this actually does tho im just basing this off observation. Try it and tell me if it works.
@no-pz8gi5 жыл бұрын
Wait thats for hand drawn animation. Eh try it anyway.
@no-pz8gi5 жыл бұрын
Wait he actually show how to do it in the vid... we both have poor observation skills.
@nehemiah52205 жыл бұрын
Mosaab Guled my observation skills very high sir😂😂 I’ve been up for nights on this animation project that my professor never showed us how to work in after effects.. I’ve used after effects bf but just never used the loop effect so I feel extremely crazy with figuring this out and it’s not working idk why.. my character is walking but for some reason the background won’t move at all. I put in the offset property too and it didn’t work either.. :(

this is not what an infinite background is. this is a looping background.
@zynthio3 жыл бұрын
All "infinite" backgrounds are just loops disguised to look infinite. It's not possible to make a video that is "infinite". The only way to do that is to have a program actively doing a simulation
@SoftYoda3 ай бұрын
