Usually all standard journals have indexed in Google and articles should appear automatically.

I put a paper on ResearchGate, and it is in Google Scholar, but not in my Google Scholar Profile. I tried adding it, it is grayed out and shows "in profile", but it is actually not.

You can manually add paper in Google scholar profile. It should not be grayed. Sometimes it takes few days to Index the article properly.

No I don’t this that is the case. Citation is not done by google. It’s recommended however to have your email verified

Respectable Prof. Zeeshan Bhatti Saheb. Sir, it was a fantastic lecture for researchers. Sir, I am neither researcher nor foresee to conduct research myself in future because I studied up to only 16 years of education and of being of age 57, there seems least chance that I will do MS or go for Ph. D. But, I want to study research reports of others. Sir, I have a a few questions: Q-1. Do I need to create Google Scholar Profile only to study researches conducted by others? Q-2. What is your recommendation for non-researcher, if they use google scholars only for the purpose of their knowledge only? I tried to read full articles but only Highlights and Abstract are displayed, not the full artical. Q-3. Can we read complete article/research for free or have to pay to read it complete? Anxiously wait for your expert advise. Thanks

Dear sir thankyou for your appreciation.. Regarding your queries 1. No You don't need to create Google scholar to do research. 2. To search for articles you use scholar.google. Most Open Source articles can be downloaded and read for free. Look for "PDF" word in front of articles to download it. 3. You can use other websites to search for free articles as well like researchgat, mendely, IEEE Xplore, sciHub, Microsoft academia, doaj, etc. Some articles are paid for which you need to purchase them. But you can still search many open access articles and journals allowing you free download of full articles.

Usually it takes time for articles to show up in Google scholar search. Also try adding articles in Researchgate, arvix, mendeley and publons. This will make article more easily searchable so can be accessible and ciatable.

Well its easy. in your google scholar profile, there is icon with PLUS sign +, click it and from manually select "Add articles manually". A form will appear which you can fill with your article data and submit.
