Love the “cited by” tip! I use it on research gate when the paper I’m reading is too technical or uses complex language. The cited by section gives me less-complex interpretations of the same text so I use it to put the text in my own words once I understood it.

I use Google Scholar's all the time. My tutor told me about this site and I feel in love with Google scholar right away. I use it to do all my research papers. Can you tell me your opinion about using books by Springer and elsivier like publishers. They are as good as the reviews. But I don't know about the impact factor of book chapter. A connected question is that the number of citations ... Is that enough to initially judge the worth of the a chapter/review paper ?
