Thank you very much for these tips ! I have been looking for the way to do this for too long without any success ! Now I know, as a math teacher, how to create amazing stuff. These are just good looking math, it actually has pedagogical plus value !!!

Thank you so much, I make videos on accounting topics and I love the way those math lessons are created in KZbin. I have been looking for this information for a while, thank you so much for sharing

Which software did you use for maths animation? Is it available for windows?

We use Apple Keynote which is Mac only. However, PowerPoint does some similar things.

@@KylePearceMathlete @Kyle Pearce Some ideas of what would've helped me find your good PowerPoint information (on the Morph transition) without checking the comments: • A video chapter break around 11:44 could mark the portion of the video that's about PowerPoint and alternatives. Then checking the remaining video would show that you do cover that, and exactly where to skip to. • The description says you'll show how to use Keynote for this - you could also mention there about PowerPoint or about alternative software, so that checking the description shows that you do cover it.

Approx how many slides would YOU use for a 30 minute class? I realize different factors come into play. Just looking for a base point. Thanks.
@MakeMathMoments2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the animation I’m trying to create.

@@MakeMathMoments Thanks. I’m working on one for 2nd grade regrouping for double digit subtraction. I have 10 problems with mostly 6 slides each so far. I’m using PP’s morph transition. Thanks for this video!

Ok, but the question is: how do you tell keynote WHICH segment goes to which segment on the next slide?

@@MakeMathMoments I can’t see anything else than “duplicate the slide and reposition objects”. Unfortunately this does not work if you want the objects to be placed in far locations if there’s several similar or identical objects
@bandymaths7485 Жыл бұрын
On Keynote: every object is tracked to the exact place you place it on the duplicate slide. If you want a specific object to go to a specific place, just be careful to do that when you are placing them on your duplicated slide. Magic Move should take care of the rest. In addition you can control individually the moves of any object under the "Animation->Action" settings. There you have options to control Move, Rotation, etc. However, this is not a transition between slides but an action on only one slide. Also, this is MUCH more tedious.
