I would like to make Java programming videos which forces me to combine laptop and ipad, Can I do it by combining the ipad screen and the laptop screen and switch between them in order to take notes for explaining and get back again to the laptop screen for coding? Any iPad and even most other non-apple tablets would work great as long as you have a stylus. Also, I've used Notability, but since this video came out there have been loads of other great apps launched! My recommendation is to download 2-3 and pick your favorite.

Hello, it depends, but if they are around 5 minutes I would think that they are under 1GB, which, if you have decent wi-fi shouldn't be an issue to upload. You might try a different internet connection.

What external mic would you recommend for “on the go” ipad videos that might have background noise. I obviously dont want to be carrying around a desktop rig, but any ideas on reasonably good noise cancelling mics. As a side note, I have a very good mic noise cancelling headset (aftershockz) but it is bluetooth and the ipad defaults to the ipad mic if the external mic is not physically connected. Thx.

So, I used to use cheap lav mic usually, but TBH sometimes it sounds a little scratchy and I get feedback. Now however, I almost exclusively use my Rhode Wireless Go II kit, and it is amazing. I think it's linked down in the description.

@@pressrepeat2000 I tried to record and then do the voice over but the video did not come out 'natural', in my opinion. The best option I have been using is an app called "Doceri" on the iPad. It allows you to write your notes and then add "stops" (transitions) so that the parts come out as you want. It allows you to take screen shots and add them to the app, but it doesn't allow any importing of PDF's. I use it along with Loom to make my videos accessible to students.

Thank you! I record the sound on a separate device, which masks most of it. The faint "taps" that are left actually add a little bit to the video IMO, so I leave them in at that point.

Conditioning is a form of training that challenges the metabolic pathways of the body in order to stimulate improvements in either anaerobic or aerobic capacity, or both. In Adobe Rush or Adobe Premiere Pro there is the option to repair the audio, which diminishes background noise. However the best way is to make sure your environment is quiet to begin with.
