Is there a way to create my own server with no updates from the official? I want to create a fully sovereign modded server that will not need to depend or report back to the official source. I want to do this to avoid any issues that could cause my current mods in my server to stop working. I see that regular updates tend to break things, I do not want that responsiblity.

Thanks for the tutorial, I followed all the steps and I have a couple of questions. 1. I do not think the server is working, are there any ways to test other than waiting the possible time to load the server (24 hours) and then checking in game, and 2. will this server only be available on the steam version of the game? Thanks.

You can try doing direct connect if the server name is not populating in the game list. There is now a server tool that simplified this process. See my other video on how to use it. It also includes the port testing to verify your ports are internet facing.

You might need to check that you opened the ports for server quality.

Nice video you have made, do you know how to setup a warning for the server to restart, I have made a server, and set it up to give a warning if the server need to restart for a update, but when playing it just restart and gives no warnings.

This could be done using RCON and scripts, but I think the easiest way would be to use a server tool to send messages and schedule restarts. You can find the lastest version of the launcher tool here: dl.conanexiles.com/exiles/DedicatedServerLauncher/DedicatedServerLauncher1406.exe I haven't played around with the tool much, but it looks helpful at managing your Conan server and has the features you're looking for.

@@ohmyadventure61 I connected directly to the dd server through my ip. After I created a local network in radmin vpn so that my friends can join my pc. How can my friends join the game? -Simply enter my ip of our network Radmin ip or enter my home ip?

@@ReynovTV they should see your server name in the server list. But since you are using VPN, I'm not entirely sure. If they connect to your VPN they should enter your local IP. Otherwise they connect to your public IP. I would ditch the VPN because it's going to cause server lag. Just make sure your game ports are open.

Yes, since you login in using an anonymous account. This is for PC hosting and there is no cost. You don't even need to own the game to host a server.

What did it show? Open CMD then use IPCONFIG Should see your Default Gateway and your local IP.

Download the mods from the steam workshop. Save the mods in your Conan server folder.
