This video totally justifies my stash of random lengths of elastic and ribbon. 😄🔖

Great timing and ideas! We are beginning the process of having our bathroom totally remodeled, and I was looking for something to keep track of all my ideas. I would love to see more of your process as you work your way through your new home. And don't get too stressed out about the noise in the videos -- when you work from home, it is expected, LOL!

I was inspired by one of your videos a few years ago to make a pen loop. I did it with a mini bulldog clip though {a bit different than the binder clip}, hot clue, and some nifty unicorn elastic I had on hand. At the time I was using the hard snap on HP cover and it worked perfectly with that. I'm hesitant to use it on the laminated covers though for fear of scratching the life out of them.

Well, hopefully this gave you some options for use with a plastic cover. :)

Mental written note. So I know where to come back to. haha! Just ordered a zippered cover for my newly frankenplanned planner. Once that arrives I can see if I'll need/REALLY want these handy little gadgets.

It is always nice to have extra pens on hand. ;)

This has been on my list of things to do. I have the idea of using one of the dollar tree chopping mats and adding the loop permanently.

Sounds like plan! Then you can move it around in your planner at will!

Thank you so much for showing how to make these! I’ve been trying to find some.

They are so hard to find, at least the happy planner ones are. It is easier to DIY them 😜

Great ideas! I hadn’t thought of using scrap leather I have to make one. I made one a few years ago with a binder clip and some elastic, but you had to get the length of the elastic perfect in order to glue it to the binder clip, and you had to use E6000. These are so much easier!

That's good to hear! Glad you got some useful tips!

If you want to keep the ends of the fabric from fraying without heat, you can coat the edges with clear nail polish- or colored, if you want a little pop of color. 😊

Thanks for the tip!

A little swash of Loctite gel super glue works too.

Did the hot glue mar the plastic surface of your planner at all? Also, how did you get the heart cutout on the one pen loop? Thanks for sharing these great ideas! 😊❤️

No, the hot glue was fine with cover plastic but I used low temp glue. And the heart cutout loop was from the happy planner. I just used it as a sample.
