29:17 What you know about KNOCK? Tip: use KNOCK at the end of the bus chain --- put HQ on PRISTINE, --- put TONE on where it looks like the high end is being boosted more than the low end (TONE = TILT EQ) It sounds professional as a mugg like that. PRO TIP: buy Sonimus A/N Console plugin (on the bus before KNOCK), and put on FAT/PUSH saturation. You'll get studio-console warmth on your track like that.

straight fire, love these videos. what is your thinking on copyrights on random samples? if you change em enough you're good? lol
@NoetsMierKeps7 ай бұрын
The answer is easy. When is the last time you saw a copyrighted sample in the video or the music? I can't, so safe to say he is atleast avoiding trouble by not doing so. If you are making hip hop and sample i don't mind. Hip Hop can be a rebellious genre right? Than a bit of sample stealing should be morally right in your book, but gotta face the consequences at the other end.

@@ChemDog you do not understand the english language and the fact that "from scratch" would imply creating your own source material. audio from scratch would imply you recording your own performance or designing your own sounds in a synth. from that point you can resample them. but to take sounds from someone elses material and label it as "from scratch" is misleading. Your last comment is silly. What is there to not understand about sampling? when u sample just put in the title *develop your sound from someones else's sound, recordings and creative ideas*. its not difficult to be transparent and trustworthy. tldr: the title mentions nothing about sampling and the term "from scratch" contradicts whats in the video.

@@ChemDog False equivalence: Growing tomatoes for a pizza and creating music through sampling are not equivalent processes. Growing tomatoes involves cultivating raw ingredients to create a specific component of a dish, while sampling involves utilizing existing copyrighted material as a component within a new artistic creation. The processes, legal implications, and creative intentions behind each are distinct. A restaurant would not be expected to produce their own meat, veg nor grains. Nobody has the impression that when a restaurant claims from scratch it implies they are also farmers. This guy sells sample packs. Which now i distrust many sounds in his packs are not original sounds. are tomatoes a creative work protected by copyright? but hey who am i to judge. personally i like making videos from scratch. what i do is rip clips from others videos. i dont bother recording or nothing, in fact i put minimal effort into it. being creative from scratch is that easy. in fact im gonna take parts from this video and profit of it myself. mr ellis wont copyright strike me, im certain. cos its from scratch and is my video now.

He’s making a fresh song from SCRATCH because he’s using Ingredients he enjoys and hand selected from another recipe to make something totally different. If your opinion was valid then the song would still sound EXACTLY like the references that he pulled from. You can stop calling Ragu’s Tomato Sauce Original because it uses hunts tomato paste in its ingredients all you want but it’s going into something else entirely different and the main ingredient is Still Tomato and will still be added to Whatever you want to turn it into….
