what throws off is the step sequencer. i ntally associate it with a soft/clip whether it's being used or not. also when you do

When I made the paint brush one a Compound Path, it's all black now with no white areas. And when I did Unite, it got worse. It was grouped when I downloaded it from your site, and I tried ungrouping, but that didn't make a difference. What am I doing wrong, or how do I fix that?

Is there any specific mode of image tracing you use to vectorizing the grit textures? They don't look the same when I do it :/

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I´m not sure if you are going to see this comment, but when I do as you show and make the brush a "compund path" all the white parts become black and it´s just one solid black shape. What am I doing wrong? I have the 2020 version so is something different in there?
