I recently began digital painting. I'll definitely have to start making composition sketches more often, and refer to unorthodox materials such as discarded packaging as texture references. I hope to some day make art that makes people feel something when they view it - like how your art stirs me.

I've found that if you want something, others do too, and if you find something someone wants that doesn't exist - that means there's a gap in the market so you should consider filling it!

While I'm not as good as an artist as you are, (since I'm just a beginner, and I'm not a painter, but digital artist) I think you could make a similar painting with the bird species that inspired the cartoon Woody Woodpecker, which was declared extinct a few years ago if I'm not mistaken. Like this one is not even disappearing, IT HAS ALREADY DISAPPEARED, also i heard that many species of sharks also struggle with stuff like that, but again these are just suggestions. Sometimes I'm not sure, I mean I have ideas that I stand by and find meaningful and even draw them, but since I struggle finding feedback for them, I'm not sure if anyone is actually connecting with them, lol.

Eco-sustainability in art is a topic that I wonder about often, but I have never seen it being discussed. I avoid markers and such because they are very disposable plastic. I don't plan on painting with oil paint because it is a polluting substance. I would like to try prints, but I would do rather woodcut than linocut, because linoleum is plastic. I would like to customise t-shirts, but I don't know if eco-friendly although resistant paints for cloths exist. I might try to make money with my art in the future, but selling plastic keychains, phone covers, and cheap customised clothes sounds too over-consuming to me. I mostly use ink (with brush or pen nibs), coloured pencils, and of course paper, but even with these I don't know how sustainable I am actually being. Sometimes I tell myself I am worrying too much for nothing, pollution is mostly done by big multinational not hobby artists, but still it is important to me that by making art I am not hurting human rights or the planet. Have you ever addressed any of these issues, or plan to do it in the future? I'd love to hear your opinion and maybe your advice. As said, I have never found any reading or discussion on this topic. (Sorry for the long read!)
