Im guessing you are on quest standalone? If so they cannot work on that platform, but if you are on PCVR then something mightve bugged or gone wrong with installation possibly.

Thanks for watching! The gimbal cam sometimes has an issue where you need to swap the camera angles back and forth onto it to make it display correctly

You have to act it out. You cant change what they do after being recorded meaning you have to time a ragdoll on time with something like a gunshot

Great tutorial, this helped me a whole lot with experimentation but I have a problem. for me, whenever I go to record a clone of myself, it doesn't show the timer that shows in your video. idk if this is because I downloaded it wrong but either way everything works out fine. just wondering if someone has a solution for it.

Pretty sure somewhere in settings you can set the timer length. Maybe yours is set to 0?

This is a great vid, it really did help me make my first couple small films. So I use PCVR for making these films, and when I try to apply the free fly or handheld camera in the monodirector settings, nothing changes, and it is still my POV on the monitor, is there an easy fix for this? Also, when I attempt to clear all actors, the buttons freezes and doesn't do it's intended purpose, same with the clear scene button.

Nope, you need to be playing on a PCVR Copy of the game. Standalone will not work with stuff like camera angles at all

Thank you so much for this tutorial. This is awesome helpful 💪I have a general question becouse of a problem. When you take out the gun to connect actors with objects so that they can move them, that's actually how it is for me. If I then delete the objects or the actors to start a new scene, the mono director no longer works. That means I have to restart the game. The recording function no longer works. The playback no longer works. Nothing works anymore. Is there a reason for this or have I installed something wrong, I don't know? Can you help me? my problem is as follows. I have this additional tool for clicking on objects so that the actor can act on them. If I now want to delete, say, this object from the animation that I then play, I can no longer make new recordings. I then have to restart the whole game so that it works again. i.e. if I have a character that I let shoot with a weapon, and I tell myself I now delete the character and also the weapon because I want to make a new scene. That doesn't even work because if I delete the objects with this new tool so that they don't keep appearing in the new image, nothing works anymore. I hope you know what I mean.. it could be possible that the full body tracking mod that I used to make this mistake… because if I don’t use it, I can use this clear the scene option often before it crashed.

Thanks for the comment! Im happy i could help, this seems to be a large problem with MonoDirector itself right now. It has been happening to me. The only advice i can give you right now is that instead of reloading the game you can simply reload the map, still very annoying but it will hopefully get fixed an ill adress the issue to the creator.
