How much money do you need to put into the whole life before you can begin pulling out? I ask because We did this years ago and must’ve had the wrong whole life insurance. We were putting in $2000 a month and never built it up enough to launch the BYOB process. Then we both went through a large change and lost our jobs. Had to stop the whole term life And lost a lot of money. Would like to know where we went wrong and how to approach this again more simplified, but now I am in my late 50s and husband is in mid 60s. Before, we had just adopted two girls and were in the midst of raising a family.

You certainly did not have a properly designed policy for IBC. You would have had access to take loans immediately in the first 30 days if it were designed properly. Most agents/advisors have no idea how to design the policies the way we do. The goal is the highest cash value efficiency and its not easy to do. next time let us help you and you will immediately see the difference in how its designed. The minimum premium is ten times your age monthly. For example: Im 47 so add a zero to my age =$470 monthly thats my minimum.

@TheChrisNaugle better and cheaper to get term life insurance and invest or keep the rest of your money, all this does is make the insurance salesman rich at your own expense
