How to create password for any app using Shortcuts

Steps:
Ask for input Number with Password
If Provided Input is Number
Open App
End If
If If Result is not Number
End If

To all those who dint understand Steps 1.open shortcuts 2. Click on the + button 3. Tap add action 4. Type ‘ask for input’ 5. Change the blue which says ‘Text’ into number 6. Then change the prompt into ‘Password’ 7. Then you will se the ‘if’ click that 8.then click the second blue and change it to ‘is’ then the password you want 9. Then down u will see the ‘ search for apps ‘ click that and type open app 10. Click the open app 11. Click the app and change it to your choice of app 12. Drag the ‘open app ‘ to the third Collum 13.click x one the ‘otherwise’ 14.click the i down below 15. Click add to Home Screen 16. Change the name to your choice 17. Suggestion. Next time put an arrow or like a caption where to click next. So it will not be hard to understand. I had to watch this multiple times. Not all people are fast learners. Too bad for me.

Did you follow the steps correctly ?. Make sure not to open the actual app, but the shortcut you created.

I tried this before and i accidentally opened the original app so from then on it kept showing scripting shortcuts and app won’t open the one that i created. i deleted the shortcut and make a new one again on the same app but it still showing scripting shortcuts when code is entered :(

Wait, there's that "open file location" option. does that remove that option? I sure hope so. If it's a hidden file it might not matter so much. As in some files Invisible to everyone except the computer and unaccessible unless they remove the hidden setting.

The only thing it does is add a bookmark. It’s not gonna stop kids from going the the Library and opening settings with ease

Do you know how many files alone most computers have literately thousands easily. If you hide it right your good. Plus you could do other stuff to hide it like hide let's say passwords in something that is like a legate document. Just make it obvious which are passwords, usernames E-mails If you really wanna make it hard to decode it. As long as it's not a really really crappy one your good. Then, you just need to keep the key hidden somewhere safe. If you have a really good memory you can just memorize and throw way the physical key though I'd still keep one just to be safe. You'd save time if you memorized it but, you have the key if you forget. You could put it somewhere no one can get it like maybe, a safe box at a bank. And, if you wanna get even more gritty made the key like a puzzle or something requiring stuff only you would know. Or the key would need a key and that key needs a key and so on. You could also change the setting to the thing the shortcut is for to Hidden. As in it's invisible and only accessible to the computer itself unless you undo the setting. Also you could hide the shortcut and most of the stuff above applies here. So, yes it defiantly is possible just depends on how important the stuff your accessing by a Shortcut means to you and how much work you wanna put into it. Whew, my heads hurting a little from writing this and even more from editing it so it's easier for you guys to understand. Later, Sway out.

You can literally just swipe down from the middle of your screen and then search for the app and it'll open without the code.

It does work For A Few Min, and then Later When I close All The recent Apps And I open My locked shortcut From Home-screen(photos) It’s Says “ scripting “ Tried it many times Watching The video and It’s Happening The same Thing all The time and it says Scripting on notification notch and Freezes for Over 2-6min, it works in the beginning And Not After That, Tell me A Solution For That If Anyone find out..!! Did you make sure to follow the steps correctly? Ask for input Number with Password If Provided Input is Number Open App End If If If Result is not Number End If Make sure to hide the original app you are creating the password for and keep the shortcut app in the home screen.

You would use the if condition, then if result is not the condition and type the password. As well as adding an alert that says the password is wrong. If -> if result is not 1234. Show alert -> Message.

To fix that what I did to remove it from search is I went to setting searched up Siri suggestions I clicked Siri and search then scrolled to tiktok then disabled everything now u can’t find it anywhere but the shortcut 😁
