Hi Liz! How do you keep the grass down in your garden walkways because I know you have a beautiful grassy front yard? Does it just not grow easily in the California heat or do you do anything to keep it away. I’m battling grass here in Arkansas and I am scared to use the diy vinegar, salt, dish soap combo in fears it will hurt my flowerbeds. ❤ #OdeeAcre

Oh my goodness Stephanie you are so funny. . . the grass in my front yard is nothing but crab grass and mowed green weeds. Sweet of you to refer to it as beautiful! As far as the walkways in my backyard garden? Well there never ever was any grass back there to begin with. And since I am always raking those walkway I guess the seeds from weeds or other plants never get a chance to germinate. I do occasionally pull a few weeds here and there from the walkways, but it's never been a problem. If you need to get rid of grass in your garden what about if you just don't water it? Or put some heavy plastic down to smother it? Just a thought. Here in the central valley of California it gets so hot. . . so if the ground isn't watered then grass won't grow. xoxoxox Liz
