Thank you for that useful video lesson. Can you please share video how to define oil derivates - i.e. gasoline, diesel, vacuum gas oil, etc. How I can do visualization of the distillation curve from the material stream properties? And I think it would be amazing if you make a video for distillation tower.

Dear author, Many thanks for the useful video lesson. Can you please share with us beginners how to input data for the content of light ends (light hydrocarbons) as methane, thane, propane etc. in the crude oil? Thank you in advance.

Hello Ivan, thanks for your question. To specify the light ends. You should have the data in percent of light ends in your petroleum assay. Then specify the petroleum assay. When you start to create flow sheet, just creat another material stream with light end composition and the total percent of light ends with respect to petroleum assay. After that use mixer and mix two streams. Now this mixed stream will be your distillation feed. I hope you understand.

@@eduXinsight Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, I well understood your explanations. I just tried another approach - first I defined light ends from the list of compounds and then I inputted crude distillation properties. My intention is to make a comparison between both approaches, yours and mine, and to investigate the difference. Later I will share results with you and your subscribers. Thank you.

Can u simulate hydrotreating reaction of naptha, kerosene and diesel ?how do I define them in material stream?
