Was not able to get the same results. Normaly I work with Meters as System Units and as Display Unit Scale. So I revert it to Millimeters and with these I can not do the same like you. Would be nice if you could give us a link to the mtl. BTW: as you have to use very small values for the tiling it is generally not possible to do this when Meter is the System unit because the smallest number you can enter for x an y is 0,001 :(

Hmm, strange, when I do black diffuse colors, the ball becomes black.
@leonleon515 жыл бұрын
Make sure you turn off fresnel. It probably is supposed to be black, as it's showing the diffuse colour. When you render is it black or metallic?
@7gone5 жыл бұрын
@@leonleon51 Yes you are right some how i missed that.

can't see where it's photorealistic, more like starting point base material, would need hours of improving to reach photoreal look.
@leonleon514 жыл бұрын
Hi Exaco, yes you are correct. It is a starting point and would require more work to have photorealism. I'll have to do another one with all of the needed details added. :) Sorry for mislabelling this one.
@leonleon514 жыл бұрын
@@ExacoMvm Fair enough. Yes you got pretty close to the photo. It largely depends on how close or far you are from the item when you render. If it's a metal object on a table then it'll need less detail than if it's the star of the show. - in which case you might want to use displacement and so on. Anyhow, I'll have another play with it soonm and use layered materials and add in fingerprints and other scufs and so on. I like the small details you have on yours.
