Very nice, simple brief tutorial for Geae and Blender. ive been trying to find something to do with Gaea that doesnt bamboozle me and make me feel like im taking a PhD so finally being able to finish and have a created landscape is great! Look forward to seeing more from you!

It works, There's nothing special in displacements, just make sure to follow all the steps
