How to create, save, rename and delete Mavic 3 Waypoints

I finally figured out how to correctly use Mavic 3 Waypoints. Sure adds great functionality to the Mavic 3. This video is long but I have created chapters.

Nice, I hope they make it so the height and distance doesn't get covered up when making waypoints that way.

I was freaked out. Lucky I was over a quiet street a block from my home.

But sitting here in front of a keyboard and not in real life, I think I would have left drone in the air and drove to the spot, then landed, but you know what they say hindsight is 20/20 and I might not have thought of that when in a panic.

I have recently set up a number of waypoint ‘missions’ on my Mavic 3 Pro which work well. However on occasions if I select ‘Go’ before powering up the drone it will power up itself and fly to the first waypoint. On other occasions it will only fly up to a few metres before updating the home point and continuing to hover until another ‘Go’ command is entered. Why is this please?

Uncle Bob- I am just finding you on here but really impressed by the production and diversity you offer! My interest in this message is to see if you would consider making a video on the waypoints setting for the RC Pro remote when using the new Mavic 3 Enterprise drone. There are many video options for the waypoints setting used in the Mavic 3 Classic and Cine models but nothing on the Enterprise series. Unfortunately, the waypoints shown in the remote for the E series does not match the look on the standard Mavic 3 models…i.e. no squiggly icon on the flight view screen, nothing showing POI settings and other features you are showing here for the standard Mavic 3. Maybe it is not possible to use waypoints as fluidly with the E series as it is with the standard models. I do hope this is not the case. Thanks so much for your time here, even if only to tell me I am out of luck. Cheers!

Hey Uncle Bob, can you set waypoints so the drone will fly around a house or structure at low altitude? Like 5ft-10ft off the ground? I’m looking at it for Photogrammetry purposes. Thanks for any input.

Not sure. I would try it in an area free of obstacles especially wires.

Sadly, you can’t share missions yet; unless, something changed in the software in the past three weeks.
