After becoming a parent, I wanted something creative and flexible to do during nap time. I started with a Crafted Threads design bundle, ordered a Cricut from Amazon, and made parent-themed shirts just for fun. Turns out, other parents LOVE custom t-shirts! Selling them at community meet-ups has been an amazing way to connect with others and make some extra money on the side. Highly recommend this setup!

I love how easy your videos are to understand. One question that I have is this. Some designers insist that in Canva, the design should be saved as a PDF Print (to get the 300dpi) and then the design opened in another app like Cloud Convert and converted there as a PNG since a PNG supports a transparent background. I am in need of PNG because I need the transparent background. My problem is that after converting the PDF to a PNG I don't know how to get the design to be transparent. I hope that makes sense. So to sum it up...what I have heard is Create design in Canva Save as PDF Print Import that PDF Print design to a file converter program Convert to a PNG but then what about a transparent background. I am so confused as a new designer. Thanks for any help that you can provide. I'm hope that I wasn't too confusing lol,

I am really having a bad time trying to change the text and put in my text. I tapped on the text box but it did remove one of the letters, but I couldn’t or should I say it wouldn’t let me type the letter back into the box and then it was the wrong it wasn’t the same size as the text design so I’m not giving up. In order to export your designs with a transparent background to add to products, you need to have a Pro account. With the free version, it will download with the rectangle background.

Hi Trichelle! Select the element, and look at the top toolbar to see what the font name is (before you start typing). Then you can just change it back if doesn’t assume the letters

Depends on the platform you’re uploading to. The Canva t-shirt templates are typically large enough, but you can increase the size before downloading if needed. If creating a custom template, I typically use 4500 x 5000 px

Make sure your Canva template size is at least 4000px and your design fills the template to the edges. If you have Canva Pro, you can increase the size during exporting
