What is one element that you’d like to add to your morning routine? 🤍

I actually don't use an alarm clock, I find that waking up to an alarm makes me start my day out really stressed from being startled awake. My body just naturally wakes up around 7:30-8 and I'm fine with that. But I do make a point of opening up the blinds and letting light in as soon as I get up.

Good routine but in my opinion you should not eat breakfast that late because it's not good for our health, we should be eating breakfast within 2 hours of waking up

I wake up at 6 am , then listen to Azaan , then make my bed , brush my teeth and wash my face, go for a little walk, listen to these types of videos while doing some house chores, do yoga and meditation, eat breakfast, make to do list, and then at last I study for my school. I love my current morning routine so much, it gives me so much clarity and peace.

I'm a mom with a fulltime job. Sometimes I feel like I cram things into my morning routine. I found that listening to podcasts and audiobooks while I do other things let's me multitask without overwhelming me. I typically listen to one episode of a podcast and one chapter of a book while I exercise. It makes exercise more enjoyable. Also the app Routines allows you to customize your morning routine and allows you to check things off as you go.
@marwahayat98464 жыл бұрын
My morning routine is waking up at 4 or 4:15 and offer prayers(namaz) that's actually equivalent to stretching amd then going to roof to get some air and remaining there till sunrise in order to. Absorb more vitD. After all coz of lockdown we all are staying at homes with no sun. It can reduce our vit d. Reading and journaling is something i do at night.

I've never tried reading in the morning, and this is a great idea for getting some reading in. I usually plan to do that in the evening before bed, but I have a tough time following through with that. So, this is something I would like to implement into my morning routine. Thank you for the inspiration!

First thing I do every morning: gently stretches IN bed. Right after I brush my teeth, wash my face, have a glass of water, and say good morning to my dogs. Have tried different routines in the past involving meditation, reading, writing, exercising, visualization, affirmations, and much more, but really struggle sticking to them.

I've found that my morning routine for when I'm not working is different because I have more time, hence, I can take my time getting ready. On a work day, I definitely find it's best to prep my meals and outfits the night before. I also love listening to podcasts or audio books whenever I can! Sometimes I'll do it at night, but other times, I'll listen to one in the morning :)

I love the idea of writing everything that you have to do for the day, and then picking the 3 that are the most important! This was a lot of help! A lot of the times I try to get my morning routines to match everyone else’s! This was so eye opening!

Excellent video with lots of great tips! I noticed that putting only 3 things on my to-do list is not the best way to use the different energy levels of the day, because sometimes they could all be highly demanding tasks, so I put a few various things I'd like to do and then choose what to do depending on the energy levels in that particular moment.
@ShelleyOurian4 жыл бұрын
For me, lately, I've been tying the effects of having a nighttime routine to those of a morning routine. Like, for example, if I have my Bluetooth headphones charged overnight then I'd be able to use them for listening to guided meditations or podcasts. Also, I'm trying to incorporate drinking water first thing in the morning.

i have recently settled in earlier. For me it is about 11pm due to studies live on line. However, I do like the expansion of mind with Podcasts to audio books that I am now hooked on. Care of my skin at night is intentional even when tired taking makeup off. Mornings begin in prayer, open the shades, make tea and sit a few minutes before getting ready for the day. With the recent isolations I am getting dress in the morning and leaving the “comfy” clothes for the evening when winding down. This is such a great video with the listing of priorities and actually looking at it. I love the paper method yet. I do put things on my iPhone calendar but a simple no nonsense planner on my desk to use for details of projects and a personal calendar just to highlight. Great....great video...You really knocked it out of the park!

Great ideas Ashlynne :) I recently realised how I incoprporated some of these in the last year of so. I always imagined change is big but it actually consists of tiny things we do. At first I just started drinking lemon water after waking up, then opening windows, taking magnesium, sitting in silence, exercising etc. Now I have all these little rituals. However, when I work, I don't push myself to do anything. I just enjoy getting ready for work, drinking water, getting in my car, turning on my favorite music and coming to my little students :)
