Thank you so much for this video. I appreciate the time and effiort you put into creating this useful content. I have been slowly configuring the settings in my dream machine for the past month. I found it extremely hard to find documentation on how to assign the managed ports on my UDM (not pro) set up a VLAN and program the firewall. Finally, finally I found the answer here. I mean I have searched hard for a month looking for an answer, Most other video tutorials cover way too much material for a single video. Maybe they give the answer but i do know enough to understand. I really prefer short, specific and well made videos. The other crazy thing is that since I have the current unifi software my screens do match those in the videos. I found the legacy menu option which helped but even then most times the menus were different. Ubiquity must change their menus weekly, LOL. So I spend most of the time watching a video, pausing it and searching for the menu item on my screen. Most times I cant find it and move on. Waste of time. I found you by filtering for 'this month' So I subscribed, liked and hope you make more videos like this. Thank you.

Can I use my Unifi Talk on my local network? So no subscription because I will not be calling outside my work. Only for internal calls between Unifi Talks.. For Example I need to call from my office Unifi talk to the Unifi talk in the production room. Is this possible? If yes is this what you are explaining in this Video? Or eitherways I need to pay for Unifi Talk subscription?

I tried to put my touch phones on their own VLAN and had problems (date/time incorrect, show up in devices o the console and then disappear, couldn't update firmware). I submitted a support ticket and Ubiquiti responded that Talk phones have to be on the same VLAN/Network as the Talk controller to function properly. I have a UDM Pro SE running Talk with latest firmware and all Unifi Pro switches. Touch phones with firmware version 1.8.0.
