So if you do this, you save it is an illustrator file and then you get to to someone (like a digital printing shop) and they cut it in anything you want?

Doesn't really work well as lining the cut lines to the image is all off. Is there one which shows all editing on illustrator so you don't have to place your image on top.

Can you please help me to du it in inkscape. how do I make the working CutContour in the inkscape.

Sorry for the late answer I had a lot of stuff happen this year. Roland Versaworks uses a spot color called CutContour, which is 100% Magenta (CMYK= 0,100,0,0) This color is applied to a stroke with a "hairline" stroke width. The cutter recognizes this as the cut line. You can create a swatch with the name of CutContour and the value RGB=255,0,255 or ff00ffff. You must do this manually using an XML or text editor to edit an existing pallet in the Inkscape pallets folder, or you can create a new one based on existing ones. I'm not yet certain that this works with the Roland Versaworks software, but it should. I need to test this myself. I will be uploading more videos on Roland how to’s .

Can you do this in photoshop? Please let me know. Do you have a Facebook page?
@lenijuca7 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no? you can only create vector lines in illustrator, Corel for projects that need a cut/trace line. If you need something vectorized we can do if for you. If it is something simple we can it for free if the project required a lot of details we can quote you on that as well. Fallow us on instagram: oxiumprinting email: info@oxiumprint.com

This is exactly the info I'm looking for but this is a terrible tutorial! Maybe slow down a little so that a person can actually follow!!
