How to create Virtual Hosts with SSL on Apache2
Hi guys,
In this video I'll show you how to configure virtual hosts with SSL on Apache2 web server using Ubuntu Server.

I'll use VirtualBox and my host computer for the experiment.
If you user Windows Operating System, please find the hosts file at:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Hi. I need to install two different SSL certificates for two different "Virtual Host" on the same VPS (1 IP only) (apache, ubuntu server). I managed to make it work on just one Virtual Host. I can't make it work on two Virtual Hosts. Any tips?

Olá Bernardo, Podemos fazer isso por exemplo utilizando uma entidade CA como o site "letsencrypt.org". É uma entidade sem fins lucrativos que neste momento certifica já 225 milhões de sites. É uma excelente opção para termos um certificado autentico. Cumps., Rodrigo

Hi, To create a new host, you can make a copy (cp) from the 000-default.conf available on Apache2 and adapt to your needs. Usually you need to set the Document Root folder, Server Name if a domain is involved and a new name file (e.g. mysite.conf). The process involved is the same for HTTP and HTTPS(SSL). Why did you bother? You didn't finish the job. You still needed to install your self signed root CA into the Ubuntu certificate stores.
