For 2K € I can have this set with 10 cymbals, two modules, 120W monitor, throne, sticks... Connect it in PC with EZ drummer and I think it will make a really nice metal drum kit for more silent practice and even making some music. I was thinking about Roland and Alesis but with 2K I cannot get even close to what I am getting with MPS. Sure, Roland and Alesis are TOP end, but I guess I am not, and that MPS will serve good. Watched soo many videos of this kit from "pro" people and amateurs and every time looks that it is working how it should be!

Hi Simon, thanks for you in-depth detail on the MPS1000 drum module. Please can you help me again... I have edited the user kits: ( 41 Studio), ( 45 Jazz ) & ( 60 VintageRock ) to my preferred taste. But now I want to move these kits so that they are more quickly & easily accessible together & next to one another. Using just one turn of the rotary wheel or (-) (+) buttons. Raher than having to scroll through the other kits to reach my preferred ones each time. Please can you tell me if it is possible to move, copy or group a selection of your favourite kits all together & place them in a preferred order, within the user Kit List? Kind regards, Shaun.

Hi..I just bought the MPS 850 E DRUM KIT and upon switching it on and connecting my headphones through the headphone slot, I'm getting no sound when hitting the pads...no sound through the headphones..is there something wrong I may be doing? What is the cable set up for the module..please help.

on the mps-850 there is standard midi connection but on this set its only usb midi so i can no longer connect via my presonus interface..that said, how is the latency if you connect it directly to your computer with usb midi, and use EZ drummer for example?

Hi Simon, love the sound you get from the MPS1000. I recently bought this product & I'm struggling to get a satisfying sound for the pre-set 'JAZZ KIT' (no:5). Please can you tell me if you have edited the Jazz kit before & recommend some suitable settings I can edit with the drum module. I am looking for a clean, bright, jazz sound. Kind regards, Shaun.

Hi Shaun. Thanks for the comment and request. Unfortunately i didn't edit the Jazz Kit so far but if you're looking for a brighter, cleaner sound i would recommend starting with the EQ on the full Kit. Maybe you can adjust the highs a little bit. Also look for some brighter sounding cymbals and a snappy, maybe higher pitch sounding snare drum? Let me know how this worked out! All the best, Simon
