Who got problems with the saved character not showing on the list after opening the game... Try it when you want to make the save file, make sure to switch off the D2R slider. This solved my problem as well ;)

After playing my Shout Barb a bit too much I got tired of the 2-sword look... So I Hero-edited myself a Giant Axe with the same properties of a single Spirit Sword and a small charm with the same attributes. I wasn't able to add 110% Faster Hit Recovery on a single item so had to make me a 'Small Charm of Spirit' to sub for the 2nd weapon. Is there any list on how high you can pack all the different stats? Like how 154% Magic Find is the highest% you can choose before it goes to negative 99% or so.

I don't think there is a stat list out there like that. It's all trial and error at this point lol

I've tried this multiple times but It just hasn't worked because when I found the saved games file it didn't have anything in it and hero editor works for me in game with atma and I can make things but it's harder and I can't create anything on the website to put in game

Good question! Not sure why that is, but one work around you could do is create the runes and base and just make the runeword in game.

Make sure you're on single player offline. This doesn't work for online characters.

When you want to save the file, switch off the d2r slider to be off. Then save it and overwrite it with that. Worked for me after a couple hours researching :D

does any of that work if you don't change your character lvl and remain at level 1? looking at starting the game with a level 1 tesladin - holyfire holyshock +999, sundered of course lol

I'm not sure if allocating skill points would work without leveling, but you should be able to create an item with those auras!

@@codethfunny, it works but I couldnt go overboard with the numbers. lvl 999 or 99 on a lvl1 short sword and buckler really messed it up. But lvl20 works. Also including all res 99, all atributes 99, lightning and fire monster immunities, indestr and cannot freeze - really stuffed it up. You end up with some crazy random numbers (in the negatives). You should try uploading another video raising awareness of the limitations of the editor, if there isnt one out there already.

when i save the file and put into my diablo 2 resurrected folder where all my other characters is at when i load the game up i dont see it in my offline character list please help

Try making a new character within D2R and editing that file instead

hmmm. when i drag the new character file into the saved games folder followed by launching the game, the character doesn't appear. i keep wondering if i'm doing something wrong. i followed along completely till after you had transferred the character file to the new folder. i couldn't tell if you had launched the game after the transfer or if the game was already running and you simply tabbed over and it auto refreshed in game to see the new character. *edit: this was just a new character right? you didn't overwrite, replace or edit an existing character? i noticed that every char in the save folder has several files in it's name and the website editor only generates a single file that you dragged and dropped. just grasping at straws here to mess around offline.

Character was made with the game closed, then I relaunched. And yes, this was a new character. You can try making a new character in D2R and just editing that file too

why am I not seeing my created save file (.d2s) inside the game whenever I am trying to load it. I even tried copying the same file name and overwriting it to the existing save that i have just to check if it will work but the load file still doesnt show

Try creating a character in game then editing that file. Make sure it's on single player too.

You can. You need to decrypt your D2r save, either you pay $60 for save wizard (a save editing software for ps4 saves) or if you have a jailbroken ps4 you can use apollo save tool (same thing as save wizard but you don't gotta pay to use it, it's free to use). Once you have your decrypted save look for a small little file named [character name].d2s. You then move that file to the hero editor, add and edit everything that you want. Once done download the d2s file that you edited from hero editor, copy and paste to the original folder you grabbed the file from. Finally just encrypt the save once again. Copy that save into your usb and paste into the ps4's storage.

In terms of my “head cannon,” I can only hero edit an “aspect” onto a charm, jewel, weapon, or armor when that aspect has been attached to an item that falls in the world. Think Skyrim’s enchantment system. I LOVE D2Rs itemization so this allows me to not F with that.

hi have solution a hero editor a 1.14d if i defeated a cow king in momo farm to holding open a momo farm portal? best farm place in diablo 2 :) but naturaly u defeatet cow king closed a momo farm portal :P

In D2R they changed it. You can kill the cow king and make another portal in the next game!

Do not overwrite your existing file with a new file that you just created. If you are using this with an existing character you must load the character file first.
