You could just as easily use Plague Runeword for +2 all skills on +3 LS, +3 Fade, + Fire Bomb claws, & use on another of the same for +10.

Was gambling some Taloons and got +3 Assasin // 30 IAS // +3 Charge Bolt Sentry. Larzuk was kind enough to give me 2 sockets. I know it's not a lightning sentry but still pretty amazing :)

I love white bases, rares, blues and crafted. Just yesterday, I rolled a low quality sexton trophy into 2 dim vision, 3 raise skeleton and 3 skeleton mastery. Needless to say, I made a splendor out of it immediately. Jmod, 6/40 javs, jeweler of the whale, jeweler of speed. Eth Rare weapons with fools, cruel, self rep and 2 sockets Rare pelts, TRI res boots, TRI rest gloves, TRI res belt Crafted blood armor with 2 sockets and +life, res, str Crafted blood belt, crafted rings and ammys and crafted boots. And also craft javs with 5 jav, cruel, fools, increased stack size and self rep. All my favourites. I have 2 chars full of junk jewels and I farm countess all day to craft stuff.

Totally agree with you my friend. I am life time SSF player and i love to craft blood items. CB gloves, Open vound belts are so good for melee chars. I also identify all rare weapons and blue armors. They can be really godly.

Delirium Rune Word is BiS for Druid/Barb skill helms bc it’s +2 all skills, so it also boosts CTA Battle Orders/Command & covers all skill trees, so it helps Druids using CTA as well…

Dude 8 identify almost every single rare I come across. And most people dont think about the fact that you can easily upgrade normal and exceptional rares so it's worth identifying things like rare crystal swords or nagas etc cuz you can upgrade them to PBS and zerkers to get a really nice item. For example I recently found a rare opportunity Short Seige Bow that rolled with chance to cast Amp dmg mod/cruel mod 300ed,17 dex, 9mana leech and I cant rember the rest but I upgraded it 2x into a Crusader Bow and it's max dmg is in the 400s.. I'll probably end up keeping it in my collection of sexy rares that I'll never end up using or aelling hehe… things like this are the reason i love playing this game so much

@@Itz_KLONOPIN and you can up crystal swords and dimensional blades into phase blades and they bug and roll without durability since phase blades dont have durability so you can up eth ones into some crazy rares and use the socket for something good instead of zod. Dont ask me how someone that I was battlenet friends with for two yearsripped off an insane rolled pb like this around 2004 ..........

I use a sexy pair of Rare Mat Javs on my java that is 2ama skills 2 jav skills 40ias 9life leech and 9mana leech with Eth/self rep AND increased stack size 😎 i rerolled a pair of rare ilvl 99 matriarchal javs at least 🤙100 times ++ tho so they cost me at least 100++ SoJs to get haha. N8b8dy ever finds gosly rares, they reroll certain ones they find in the right places that area… item level (ilvl99)

I'm sad you left throwing weapons off the list. Rare ethereal throwing weapons for the throw barb can get significantly better than the usual ethereal Lacerator and Warshrike. And on a playthrough the only unique throwing weapons are Deathbit and The Scalper which are very weak compared to what you can get with rares.

You're right about the rare eth javs but don't count Deathbit out. Its very useful with its deadly strike up into hell. You can also upgrade them for more damage output. I ran 2x Deathbits from NM to Hell and easily killed most stuff I came across until I upgraded to other BiS gear.

@@jeffsaffron5647 Both of yall are right, but if it we're talking PvP, Eth Rare Throw Jav are BiS because Amp is considered BM, also considering some Eth Throw Javs can get up to 500-700 throw damage on the item itself therefore handing out more damage than the Lacerator w/ Amp combined anyways. Its all user preference really

for PvM eth rare jav + eth lacerator best possible dmg. There is no close alternative. Amp skyrockets the dmg, but first must have the damage - therefore eth ghost glaive with 200-600 dmg is ideal. I tried PvP with throwbarb, but problem is players easily avoid projectiles + 75% shield block. Unplayable in practical means, but I had my fair share of fun with it.

Plague is better than Rare Claws, bc you negate the facet jewels when using Loser Resist, and it allows you to use on ideal claw bases for item speed for traps.

Thought about that before myself, and while that's true, it's just a carryover from Diablo 1. Items with set mods were called Uniques, and there were no "rare" items, so they stayed with it.

Bro, rares in D2 are the items that are exactly the least used options. The smallest bunch of item types that can be BiS on as many gear slots as possible are the rares. Uniques are mostly BiS on as many slots, next are runewords, next are set items, last are rares. You actually talked about this on some videos, also everyone knows it, etc. Why would you try to get your views this way? I really liked you... Also, the word 'melee' is pronounced "muhlii", not "mei lei". Sorry.

Yes and No. Sure, Uniques are definitely BiS, but like I mentioned to someone below this. Skills will only get you so far. Rares that can roll the Extra Resist, Life and FCR are 100x better off than most Uniques that can't roll them.

Depends what you need. If I'm rocking -100 to all res I would much rather have that rare ring than +1 skills. Doesn't matter if you're doing hundreds of thousands of damage, if you can't survive a hit, you're screwed, and that FCR will allow a faster get away for Teleport. The Extra Point into TP doesn't really help other than decreasing its Mana Cost

SoJs gets thrown away, while a good rare ring can sell for hundreds or thousands of dollars. You dont need to be very smart to know which one is better.
