Hi there! I just wanted to thank you for creating such an amazing tutorial. Your generosity in sharing such valuable information is truly appreciated. I know you could easily sell this pattern for a good price, but instead, you've chosen to gift it to us. Thank you so much for your kindness and for inspiring us to keep on creating!

I love birds. Just found you and subbed!!! While there are many bird patterns out there, most are round balls with wings, tails and faces. I love real birds. I love to crochet. But I live to crochet real birds. I'm in love with these. I wish I had the knowledge to create patterns but I'm just not there yet. I love your channel and you because, unlike most designers, you too care about realism. The right colors. No hats and scarfs. Birds that have crests, like a cardinal, most ppl miss, and most forget feet. I APPRECIATE the details. And, for me, I have a 24" all season tree and want to create a forest full of birds. Summer, fall, winter, spring. Complete with many times of 2" birds. (Not my idea, Meiks idea and design), and I'm not there yet. So thank you because you just became one of my favorite crochet designers. I thank you so much for these REALISTIC birds!

I love this pattern! Thank you so much!!! I gave my cockatoo a more square tail and learned some new tips on how to do so by your sewing technique! Gracias! Fun birdie fact: Parrots, like these little guys, naturally have 2 toes in the front and 2 toes in the back, whereas passerine birds (songbirds, other perching birds, and birds of prey) have 3 toes in the front and 1 in the back. Other grasping birds like woodpeckers have their toes arranged like parrots. (Fun fact via my bird neediness XD)

Hi can you tell me if you made any adjustments to the pattern ??? It looks weird on round 17 !!! The beak isn’t in the right place !!! I did it multiple times thinking i made a mistake but every time it’s the same thing!
@jessicabeatrizdealmeida
@jessicabeatrizdealmeida 4 ай бұрын
@@Lol98-wk18 Hi there! Omg, I thought it was just me! In my case, I noticed something wrong in round 14 . The "3 sc in 1" weren't symmetrical. Then I thought it was because of the beak (I used a different size of yarn, but with the same hook) - because it wasn't in the middle. However, I adjust everything from round 14 up to 25 (I kept the first half of the round and adjust middle to end). It was a little bit challenging and it didn't came out as the most perfect thing, but it looked good at the end. If you like so, I can write my adjustments here, but, honestly, I think the easiest thing to do in this scenario is to change the placement of the beak.

I've made this pattern twice and I'm doing something odd and my stitch marker ends up too far forward around row 10 or 11. I fixed it by making sure the second increase in row 11 is under the chin and counting back my stich marker from there. The rest of the bird turned out correct. The first one was a cardinal with black around the beak and an orange beak and feet. My second was a black faced love bird with blue body, white ring, beak and feet. I've found the pattern challenging but very cute! Thank you so much

Hey friend, something you said in one of your videos, the one where you didn't write down the owl pattern, and mentioned having to do all the work, now, I love watching your videos, you're my favorite KZbinr, however, that made me feel bad. I do not have the understanding of math in the same way you do. It's like a foreign language to me, and so I am unable to design my own patterns. I rely on hard working crocheters/KZbinrs like you to allow me to still carry on with my passion of crocheting as I find great peace and fun in those patterns. I tell everyone about your channel and get so excited for more content. I am very sorry that I don't understand math well enough to design my own projects, but I do appreciate all your hard work, and admire and envy your ability to understand math as easily as you do. It's something I've always struggled with and something I've always tried very hard at. I had to be honest and tell you, when you said that, it hurt my feelings, and even more so because I have become so fond of your channel. I've saved almost all your videos on a playlist and watch them many times because they're entertaining and fun and relaxing, and I e purchased a few of the patterns from your Etsy shop, but I almost stopped because of this. It made me feel guilty for watching you crochet and that I didn't have a right to. I completely agree that any of your patterns you don't have to share but choose to, and I am subscribed to your channel, but I'm grateful you do share them because as I said it allows me to crochet when otherwise I wouldn't be able to. You don't know how badly I want to be able to design my own. 😢 Anyway, thank you for all the hard work you put into your patterns and filming. I know there's a lot behind the scenes we don't see. 😕😞

Hello !! I've started to learn to crochet only recently, and your series in teaching how you design your own patterns has been so helpful, in demystifying why we might make certain stitches where we do in order to create a particular shape; and I love your pokemon crochet series and i've ended up here because I have budgies at home and these are such delightfully shaped little friends Since you mentioned Articuno as a Patreon exclusive, I wonder if you might also consider attempting Hawlucha? Even if as a Patreon exclusive pattern, I'd be so interested in an overview type video in the vein of your masterclass, showing how you might handle his precise, pointed color changes, the shape of his head/body, and the double coloration on the back/front of his wings. He seems like he would combine, but also expand on? a lot of the skills/techniques both presented in this video and your shaping videos

In my DnD game i gave one of my players a newly hatched phoenix as a mythical pet (they all get 1). I am gonna use this pattern to make her a prop of her little molotov cockatiel!

I was looking for a bird to add to my spring to summer wreath. I have eggs there now, but a bird there would be great as a transiting element. Will be taking inspiration, might need to make it a touch smaller
