How to Crochet a Bauble Edge

This is fascinating and I love bobbles. I just have one question, do you think the bobbles make for big bumpy bits underneath the baby? I already took the bobbles off a baby cardigan pattern, because I felt it would be bumpy underneath the baby.

Hmmmm....I've never had that question before. The pattern has been one of our most popular for several years now so the fact that I've not been asked or heard from any body about it suggests to me that it's not been a problem. Perhaps because they are rather small and only on the border helps make them not an issue?
