This wristband/ bracelet is crocheted with cotton crochet thread of floss and a size D hook. The beads are regular small beads and I also used optional 6mm bells. All you need to be familiar with is a chain stitch and a single crochet.

This is such lovely bracelets!! Quick tip: If I don't have a needle, just use clear nailpolish (or any other nailpolish) and brush the tip of the yarn, about an inch, and leave to dry. This works so much better than the soft yarn. Thanks so much for sharing. Stay safe💐👌👏

Thanks so much for your super video. Years ago I made lots of beaded crochet items. Over time the skill escaped. Watching your video brought it all back and I immediately saw where I was missing a step. Many thanks!

Hi, I've got a tip on how to make it much easier to slide your beads onto your thread: take a bottle of clear nail polish and brush it onto the end of the thread, then let it dry. This stiffens the thread so that it acts like a needle and you can easily slide your beads onto it. When you brush on the polish, you can then use your fingers to sort of rub the polish into the thread and smooth it into a point. I hope you find this helpful. Love from Amanda in Australia 🇦🇺 ❤

Thank you so much for sharing this bracelet, I made it a little different, instead of using yarn I used thread to make doilies, and crochet five rows, two at the beginning without beads, the third with the beads and the last two without beads, I made the cutest choker. :) thank you again for sharing

thank you!! just two small tips: u can get a thin metal wire fold it in half and twist the two ends together and u got yourself a needle. the second tip, i don't pick the beads one by one, instead i just hold my needle and just dip it in the bowl of beads and run the needle towards you. (i dont know how to explain it properly but kind of like a conductor of an orchestra, just keep making an O with your hand) hope it helps.

To make threading the beads easier I've used 1mm waxed cotton cord. After getting all the beads on, I just rolled up the rest of the cord and rubbed it between my hands to make it feel softer, like yarn. I love the way waxed cotton or waxed hemp feels as it gets softer and softer. Very pretty nature colors you've used here! 😊

Thanks so much, now I understand how you make the full bracelet with the big bead and loop. THREAD INFO: In another picture tutorial I looked at, the thread used was C-LON beading thread (with hook size 1.5), which I bought online in silver and chocolate brown, but haven't used yet to comment...

Thanks for the video! As MyBambi77 stated, a big eye needle works well. You can also make your own out of fine gauge wire. Simply cut about 3-4 inches of wire and fold it in half, use the folded area as your needle eye. This will work for most beads, however depending on the thickness of the thread you're using, beads with tiny holes (such as seed beads) may not work.

One way to get the beads onto the thread is to dip the end of the thread in glue (even just white PVA) and let it dry. This makes it very easy to poke through the beads and can be trimmed off afterwards.
