You do a great job explaining, your actually the first person on you tube that i found that shows what stitches to put the hook into slowly.

Do you ever do standing stitches to start instead of tying on new yarn?
@AdoreCreaCrochet6 ай бұрын
I was never taught to do it this way. But maybe it's something I should practice😊. May I ask do you find this method easier?
@maewebster93776 ай бұрын
@@AdoreCreaCrochet Hello. Thanks for asking. I do find it easier plus to me, it gives a better look than chaining up to get the needed height. You just make a slip stitch, yarn over, insert your hook and proceed with your DC or HDC. (American DC & HDC), weave in the tail. I learned standing stitches 4 years ago I think and now that’s the only way that I start. Sometimes I don’t even make the slip stitch, I just yarn over and start, but I hold the yarn taut until the second stitch is made.

Lovely. How do you join them together?
@AdoreCreaCrochet6 ай бұрын
Joining granny squares together can be done in several ways, depending on the look you want to achieve and your skill level. Here are a few common methods: Whip Stitch: This is a simple and easy method where you use a tapestry needle and yarn to stitch the squares together along the edges. Single Crochet Join: With this method, you use a crochet hook to single crochet the squares together, working through both loops of the stitches on each square. Join-As-You-Go (JAYG): This technique involves crocheting the squares together as you make them, usually by working slip stitches, single crochets, or other joining stitches along the edges as you crochet the final round of each square. Flat Braid Join: This is a decorative joining method where you create a braided effect between the squares using slip stitches. Continuous Join: With this method, you crochet continuously around the squares, joining them as you go using slip stitches, single crochets, or other joining stitches. Each method has its own benefits and aesthetic appeal. You can choose the one that best suits your preferences and the look you want for your project. There are plenty of tutorials and resources available online for each of these methods, so you can explore and find the one that works best for you. Happy crocheting! 🧶✨
