OhMyGoodness!! How adorable!! I refer to these cats as 'Marlboro Cats', due to the inverted V at the top of their heads (lol) I'm going to make one in black and white, I had a cat named Jessi that was one with the inverted V. (She originally was named Jesse James, as she would steal/borrow things and hide them... but then we found out she was a she, not a he, so named changed to Jessi

Thank you so much for this lovely tutorial! As a beginner it really helped so much that you often stopped to show us the stitch and what things should look like at certain points. I love my cat bag! If any other beginners follow this tutorial, I wish I would have used worsted weight yarn instead of sport. The material section of the video and description shows 4ply but I think they might be using worsted weight (I could be wrong though I'm new to crocheting).

Sport-weight yarns are too thin for this project. Some of the 4-ply yarns come in different sizes. The milk cotton 4-ply yarn I used is between sizes 2 and 3.(I bought it from Aliexpress)😊

I love this design what you are doing and what the directions are, are two different things. it says sc6 and I've counted from your stitch marker to when you hold it up and I can see 8 or nine stiches you've made before you started to inc. Have you considered talking and explaining what you are doing while you work. First few rounds I'm just going around and inc until I get the total st count. BUT with round 5 I keep coming up with 38 sts not 44. Am I not reading this correctly? 3 sc, inc, sc 6 = 10sts, then ( sc 3,inc)x3 = 12sts ( total so far 22sts) plus 11 sc =33 sts, inc =34 sts , then another 3 scs with an inc is 4 more sts = 38 total sts. NEVER MIND I GOT IT! EVERY 1 INC IS CONSIDERED 2...11+15=26+13=39+5 =44 So instead of adding a st in the last st its 2 extra sts in the nxt st. 🤦‍♀
