Hi Chrissy, as a novice crocheter it was a challenge trying to deal with the magic loop and working out increases until I found your video. Like you I now so enjoy the half crochet stitch. Thanks very much😀

Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial. I am new to crochet after years of knitting. I am absolutely hooked! I find circles quite challenging. I usually end up with one extra stitch and can never fathom why. Because I get distracted easily when counting, I find it useful to say “one in two, two in two” on the increase stitch. Otherwise I end up doing just one stitch. I do have a question though. My coasters tend to “cup” by curling up instead of laying flat. Any suggestions on how to get my circles to lay flat? I’ve made two of your coasters so far and can’t wait to start another. Love your style and listening to your chat.

I love that you have a technique you say to keep you on track I’m just the same. I find some types of yarn are more prone to curling. Often I simply spray with some water, lay a thin tea towel over the top and a couple of heavy books for night. :)

How can we increase the size of coaster. Pls reply....! Thanks in advance....😍

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m not planning to revisit the pattern however if you made a small drawing you might be able to make the circular larger yourself, so long as you increase and end up with the same denomination of end stitches so your scallops work. Does that make sense?

Mindfulness. Crocheting with something on in the back ground disrupts the Mindfulness.
