*Do you have a left handed version of this video?* If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on KZbin yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
*How much yarn will I need?* This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
*How many squares do I need for a blanket?* That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
*Do you have the written pattern?* Yes! I crocheted right along with you, I used Red Heart Classic size 10 crochet cotton and a size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook. I love this little heart, I plan on making several more in smaller thread and a smaller hook to use as buntings to decorate the inside of a box my great granddaughter got for Christmas from me, that I partially filled with hand sewn and crocheted Barbie clothes and things I made for her dolls. I just wanted to add that a few days after valentine's day that the heart and the good morning note I gave him were still sitting by the coffee pot. This design is so simple, yet perfect! I've just gotten an entire set of crochet hooks because I want to make small hearts and snowflakes with thin yarn (doily weight). I'm 66 and self taught, but I've never used the doily size yarn. My grandmother made all sorts of doilies and tablecloths, etc., but she passed when I was 7, so I'm self taught with all my needlework. I suddenly have and urge for this fine thread and small projects. Thank-you so much for your detailed instructions. Very easy to follow and very sweet. I’ve recently come back to crochet after learning the basics 13 years ago. I only ever did a small rectangle after so much undoing, redoing, swearing. I was satisfied enough that I had managed that! Now I’m feeling like some mental torture and decided I would come back to crochet.
