I made this top in 2020, in a beautiful marsala color, while listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks. It's a core memory of mine now, and I've returned to this video because I'm gonna make two more, in grey and white. This top is so beautiful and versatile, I feel like I need it in every neutral!

Hi, it's me again.. still working on this lol! it would also be helpful if you explained the increases and decreases on the scoop more, I don't think I did anything wrong but I come out with less stitches on the other side of the scoop because the decreases on the back panel are different! on the front panel we left out the last stitch and crocheted together the 2 before, whereas on the back panel we crochet the first 2 stitches together!!

If you looks closely to the bottom of the top the stitches are a little bit tighter, that's the band. Similar to the waist band of some shorts. 😊 All of the tools are listed within the first minute or two of the video! Definitely can use a 4 MM hook, Keep up with the measurements and you're good to go.

Hi! If you'd like to send us a message on Instagram we'd love to help out, but if you'd already attached the 2nd shoulder all you have to do is take apart the 2nd shoulder, add a few more rows for the body and reattach the shoulder. 😊❤

how switching hooks help?...I justfirst
@mayabhagath
@mayabhagath Жыл бұрын
Using a smaller hook makes the stitches closer together (tighter) compared to using a larger hook.
@TCDDIY
@TCDDIY Жыл бұрын
Switching hooks is simply to remove one hook & insert another to get a different look. 😊

Are you the creator of these patterns? If so you are insanely talented. Are you the model, we hear your voice but it's hard to picture the person who speaks.

T CD you are beautiful! I love your tutorials, I only asked because some clothing designers have others model their clothes. You do beautiful work, I would never ever be able to put together the patterns you come up with. Great visionary. I'm going to try some of your patterns this fall. I think working on summer during the winter months will make it easier for me, I'll have more time!!!

Oh nooo, Try to take apart the Single Crochet row along the neckline, sometimes that tightens it and makes it stretch less. Try it on with the Single Crochet row and if it still fits you fine would just have to add more Single Crochet's so it's not as tight. 😊

Has anyone done a 'medium' to this yet? I'm trying to do it blindly for my sister in law cause I've been on a kick lol and don't want to give it to her to not fit. I also don't know how to non chalantly bring up her measurements in a conversation cause it's not really a subtle thing to ask lol TIA
@TCDDIY
@TCDDIY 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Amber! I have seen it done in mediums, but am unsure about the measurements. If you have a fitted shirt that she wears you can take that measurement and apply that to the pattern. 😊
