I made this top in 2020, in a beautiful marsala color, while listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks. It's a core memory of mine now, and I've returned to this video because I'm gonna make two more, in grey and white. This top is so beautiful and versatile, I feel like I need it in every neutral!

Hi, it's me again.. still working on this lol! it would also be helpful if you explained the increases and decreases on the scoop more, I don't think I did anything wrong but I come out with less stitches on the other side of the scoop because the decreases on the back panel are different! on the front panel we left out the last stitch and crocheted together the 2 before, whereas on the back panel we crochet the first 2 stitches together!!

If you looks closely to the bottom of the top the stitches are a little bit tighter, that's the band. Hi! I am planning to make this top but I need help on making it longer where this top reaches the waist :)) Would appreciate the help! 🤍

Of course! It's super simple! when making the initial CH make it from under arm down to where you want it to be and you're goo to go from there! 😊

Has anyone done a 'medium' to this yet? I'm trying to do it blindly for my sister in law cause I've been on a kick lol and don't want to give it to her to not fit. I also don't know how to non chalantly bring up her measurements in a conversation cause it's not really a subtle thing to ask lol TIA

Hi Amber! I have seen it done in mediums, but am unsure about the measurements. If you have a fitted shirt that she wears you can take that measurement and apply that to the pattern. 😊
