@marianahristova10 & Ella. Thank you so much for the detailed instructions and video. Super helpful for new crocheter like me. Can I do double crotchet using the above calculations too? Follow up - managed to do a big round table cover following Ella’s method. Total is 65 rounds using only single crotchet. Make a few miscalculations but managed to “correct” them by adding or subtracting the last few stitches. It’s a very forgiving pattern, so don’t stress so much once you get the hang of doing it. The important thing is to get the number of stitches correct in each rounds so the patterns remains round and doesn’t curled. Using stitch markers to help you mark is also very helpful in the counting especially when it gets bigger.

Do these rules apply with any stitch you would want to make the circle with? The rules you showed towards the end were super helpful, it’s amazing how it works out like that! And I love that you were having to join anything so you weren’t getting that diagonal line.

Hi Ella , that is very interesting, and I like it a lot !!!!! Do you have a written pattern with the explanations of the even and odd Rows . Please .💕 thank you so very much. Doing a slip stitch at the end of row is not something that I do and I want to unlearn my way and do yours .

@@marianahristova10 thank you but your instructions for all the odd rounds are not correct. For example, let's take row 5. (1 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc) x 6. The brackets are not used correctly. The brackets should contain the repeat. In your version it seems you must work 1 sc, then an increase, then 2 sc and repeat - making 5 scs between the increases. That's wrong and is very confusing for inexperienced crocheters. The whole post is confusing. The actual video is correct but the little labels are not written properly and unless you're an experienced crocheter this won't be helpful.

@@janedemoratti8981 If you are Ella Crochet and that is your pattern, I want to thank you for it! I have dreamed of a perfect circle - large, flat and no lines! And it’s the first time I see exactly this. For me this is one of the greatest crochet patterns ever. So, congratulations and thank you again, very much thank you. I am sorry if I did wrong instructions. I checked it again and what I have written for row 5, row 7… is exactly the same, as on your video so I can’t see my mistake, but anyway I am sorry and excuse me. My english is not that good and may be that is the reason of my wrong instrucition. Be happy, you talented crocheter.

You won’t believe what a time I’m having finding a video to do a 1- perfect circle, 2- a straight line, and 3- in sc……I’m crocheting an Amigurumi Head for a Doll……and if possible, have the rows even in case I want to change color and not get that staggered look…..(if you know what I mean)………right now I’m just doing one color….
