I love that you say how many stitches you should have after each round. Your tutorials are so easy to follow and it’s wonderful. I love how close up you are and how you pull apart the stitches to show us exactly where to go. You are my favorite crochet channel and teacher! You are fabulous! Edit: I made this with a bulky 5 yarn and 6mm hook. It looks fabulous! It will fit a large adult male which is what I was going for.

I'm a Beginner at Crochet and Crystal's instructions and videos are so easy to understand. I've tried many others and she is one of my favorites, plus she has so many projects to pick from! I found many others to be confusing or too fast for a beginner. Crystal gives people the confidence to try something more challenging each time. Thank you, Crystal!

I have used this pattern for hundreds of donated beanies since it seems that it is “one size fits most.” Thanks for sharing. You gave a tip when walking us through row 5…sometimes a DC hides behind a FPDC. Missing that stitch will mess up the stitch count as some others may have experienced. Keep the videos coming!

I love all of your hat patterns. I work at a learning center for adults with developmental disabilities. And during the pandemic our friends can't come into the center. Now that we're in the colder season I've been making hats from your patterns to give to my friends that come to the center. It gives me a chance to do the things I love. Crochet and make my friends that I take care of smile. Thank you so much for your videos and patterns.

Hi Crystal, I found you last week & have made 5 different hats this week. Your tutorials are so precise I never have a problem. I never have to adjust anything as they fit perfect every time. I was looking for new patterns as we have a cancer center here that I make hats for the ladies. I am very limited on yarn availability so I chose Mandala Ombre. It so soft & stretchy & not a thick heavy hat.

Hi Crystal. Recently discovered your channel and am enjoying it. I have been wanting to do aribbed beanie for a while and have started two or three times and wasn’t enjoying it. After watching this video of yours, I think I can do it with this pattern. Just my opinion but it is easier for me to watch when the yarn is a solid color rather than variegated, just makes it clearer. Please don’t think I’m criticizing, just offering my opinion. I like the way you instruct, clearly and to the point, not a lot of extra gibberish. Thanks

Ok I actually did this with a stitch count of 9 in the beginning circle and it seemed to work out just fine? I love this little beanie its so cute.. its still just a little loose but very dooable now....I deleted my first post because I felt I fixed the issue and then saw your response..not sure what my size is but the other hat was to big for me..thanks crystal love your videos! Where you would have 72 stitches I think you said I would have 54...So I followed accordingly with the rounds they were just downsized accordingly.
